Evian, Christopher, and Rosalie eagerly awaited the gossip. Sarah, Caitlin's strong, decisive successor in family affairs, was unaware of her husband Bennett's mistress and illegitimate children. David and the others were shocked.

Initially, the revelation seemed unsurprising, but reflection ignited a desire to thrash Bennett. They recalled his efforts to win Sarah, his dedication to the Quirk family business, and his unwavering support even when Sarah chose to have only one child due to difficult childbirth. Bennett inexplicably shuddered. He wondered if he'd simply mentioned the project at the wrong time. The others' stares were unnerving.

Isabella, dismissing the doomed Bennett, quickly shifted her attention. She realized Carlos, a renowned baritone and music teacher at a top-tier academy, was as handsome as Christopher.
