Colby smiled sincerely and said, "Of course. Could I possibly do this for someone else? Besides, this matter brings you nothing but benefits. Since Josie has valuable connections, surely we can’t just let her hand them over to others, right?
"I’m ensuring these resources remain within our own group. Do you agree?"
Lindsey’s brows furrowed slightly, and she did not respond to his words. Instead, she asked, “Have you really made up your mind? Are you not going back to the company?”
“Yes, I’ve made up my mind!" Colby nodded and said. "The company belongs to you. I have no intention of competing with you for it. Since Grandpa entrusted it to you, it is a sign of his trust in you. I am fully capable of making my own way," Colby added.
“You can’t say so.” Lindsey patted his shoulder and said, “You also have shares in the company and bear responsibility. But if you want to stir things up, I’ll support you.
"However, if you ever feel you can’t handle the hardship anymore, you can always come back. There will always be a place for you at the Clem Group.”
“No, please don’t,” Colby said with a smile, waving his hand. "I’m just starting my entrepreneurial journey; how can you discourage me at this stage? Why assume that I can’t persevere? I’m determined to achieve substantial success!”
“Alright, I’ll wait for you to make your fortune,” Lindsey said, smiling, then turned to look at Josie. "What is the name of the medical company you just mentioned, and do you have the contact information of their sales representative?" she asked.
Without hesitation, Josie immediately opened her phone and said, “Yes, I can send it to you right now.”
“Alright. I’ll issue the instructions accordingly. Once the cooperation with the party is confirmed, I’ll contact you. In the meantime, please provide me with a list of the equipment you require.”
Lindsey became approachable at this moment and said, “I’ll give priority to bringing in your equipment."
“That’s great!” Josie’s face lit up with a smile. “Thank you, Ms. Clem.”
Lindsey waved her hand and said, “If you don’t mind, just address me ‘Lindsey.’ Since you are friends with Colby, you are considered my juniors as well.”
“Thank you, Lindsey,” Josie readily complied, rising to her feet and bowing slightly to her.
Sean did not feel happy with the change in Lindsey’s attitude. On the contrary, he was full of comments on her remarks.
“Lindsey, thank you for your assistance with the equipment." As he was leaving, Sean looked at Lindsey and said, "However, the Reedshaw family’s legacy will never be lost. There’s absolutely no need for you to worry about that.”
Lindsey was amused and said, “Whether the legacy is lost or not is not for you to decide, but for everyone.
"When the day comes that no one knows the Reedshaw Acupuncture Technique, and there are no longer any physicians in the Reedshaw family who use acupuncture to treat and save patients, then even if you believe this legacy has not been lost, in reality, it has.”
Sean fell silent. Lindsey stood up and went upstairs. She appeared calm and unruffled, showing no sign that she felt her words had offended a family with a century–long heritage. This left Sean feeling somewhat frustrated.

Even Colby believed that Josie was merely comforting Sean. After all, she herself had never intended to study acupuncture from the outset.
