Barrett was the last customer. William greeted him. Hearing about the return, William’s friendly demeanor eased Barrett’s embarrassment. The return process was surprisingly smooth. After inspecting the tiara, they refunded the full 36,800 silver coins.
William personally escorted Barrett to the door. “We look forward to your next visit.”
