Rafael noticed Jacob holding a note; it seemed to reveal Thalia and her children's whereabouts.

A stunned Frederick protested, "Why don't we send more people? It's late, and we need to find them immediately. If anything happens, it will be too late!"

He glanced at Carissa, who remained silent.

Rafael said, "Frederick, follow Jacob's instructions. Send people to search for them. Regarding the Sinclair family, tell them only that we're also sending people. If they're not found by tomorrow, have them report it to the Royal Citadel."

Frederick replied, "Understood, Your Highness. I'll follow your wishes."

Shortly after, they returned through a side door, carrying two children and a pregnant woman; all were taken to the dungeon."

Violet, unaware of the situation, was impressed by Jacob's Harmony Palace connections.

"You have someone in Harmony Palace? That's impressive! Your contact must be highly valued by Grand Princess Eleanor," she said.

"They hold essential positions. We couldn't operate without them," Jacob replied seriously. He explained that their roles (cleaning toilets) allowed them to patrol the courtyards unnoticed at night. People avoided them due to the unpleasant smell.

"They? More than one?" Violet asked, then gasped. "Wait, you said they kidnapped two children and a pregnant woman?"

Carissa's face was etched with worry. "It's my aunt and cousins. Frederick said my Uncle Daniel left the capital today. If his wife and children were taken by people from Harmony Palace, I fear he may have fallen into Grand Princess Eleanor's hands as well."

Violet gasped. "Could Grand Princess Eleanor have discovered our plans for the Emberfest Festival?"

Carissa shook her head, a flicker of determination in her eyes. "No. My uncle resembles my father, and he's only in his twenties. Their similar appearance worries me"

Everyone understood her concern.

Jacob interjected, "Let's not panic. If they intended to kill them, they would have already. There was no need to take them to the dungeon"

He trailed off, realizing that even without immediate death, imprisonment surely meant torture.

Rafael pondered, then said, "I'll sneak into the dungeon and observe them. If they act, I'll intervene; otherwise, I'll hide and wait for our operation tomorrow night."

Only Rafael and Carissa could quietly infiltrate Harmony Palace and reach the dungeon to hide, and Rafael had a better chance of success.
