Dominic was escorted to the dilapidated Sullivan family estate by the Griffinblade Unit. Unit members cleared the overgrown weeds and debris, aided by palace servants selected by Derek. Barrett, instead of personally escorting Dominic, deployed twenty Griffinblade members: ten inside the estate and ten guarding the three entrances (four at the main gate, three at each side and back door).

Shortly after Dominic's arrival, Heather, accompanied by others, requested a meeting at the main entrance. Though stopped by the Griffinblade Unit, she waited patiently, unable to bear not seeing her father despite the potential reputational damage. Fortunately, Harvey's absence prevented his usual interference. The king's leniency, even with the Griffinblade Unit's presence, represented a significant act of kindness.

After the increasingly cold weather prompted her departure, Heather left. Meanwhile, at Hell Monarch Estate, Carissa, having calmed down, received a report from Michael. Rafael remained with her throughout the day.

“Grandfather has returned to Sullivan Estate,” Rafael announced, relieved. “At least Dominic won’t be imprisoned. The Griffinblade Unit is overseeing him. If you wish to visit General Sullivan, I can speak to Commander Warren,” Michael offered, their established rapport stemming from Michael's prior service under Barrett.

Carissa accepted the offer, intending to speak with Dominic. After Michael left, Rafael addressed the group: “We act as we should, unburdened by opinions or hesitation. We’ve earned this strength through careful survival; now, we use it. This strength buys us a year or two of freedom.”

Carissa and Violet visibly relaxed. Violet exclaimed triumphantly, "This frustration has lasted too long!"

Jacob's grave reminder, “Your Highness, there’s still no word from Lord Edwin,” hinted at dire consequences. He explained, “His Majesty still respects General Sullivan, but if news reaches him, all goodwill will vanish.”

Rafael believed Lord Edwin could help, confident that Kevin's understanding of the king would prevent drastic action. Jacob remained concerned due to the lack of information. Their worry was immediately alleviated by Travis's announcement, “Lord Edwin is here!” His raspy voice revealed the exertion of his efforts.
