Chapter 975

Penny stormed in, finding Lisandra's curtains drawn. Her face darkened, and she snapped at Yuna, "How dare you! How could you let a man from outside see Her Highness sleeping?" She moved to pull the curtains closed, intending to have Sebastian ejected.

Yuna blocked her. "Since she's already been seen, it's better to let the physician examine her."

Penny's eyes widened. "Yuna Rutherford! How dare you?!"

Despite her lower rank, Yuna responded firmly, "Her Highness's health is paramount. She's been unconscious for over four hours. Delaying diagnosis could seriously harm her."

Yasmine, another official, supported Yuna. "They're already here. What harm is there in letting them examine her? Why are you so opposed to this? You've opposed everything—it seems you don't care about Her Highness."

Penny glared. "Stop your nonsense! When haven't I cared for Her Highness? The people of Starhaven are deceitful and malicious. Have you forgotten the villagers' massacre? How can we trust them?"

Winona, listening, retorted in Westish, "Aurora Yates committed the massacre. You can't blame all of Starhaven. Your Westhaven spies slaughtered the entire Sinclair family. Does that mean all of you are bad?"

Garrick intervened, "Enough! This isn't the time for arguing. Her Highness's health is the priority. Even Mr. Glover couldn't determine the cause of her unconsciousness. Let Mr. Dalton examine her."

Klaus agreed. "Right. Mr. Dalton has already checked Her Highness's heart rate. We need to rule out poisoning first."

Javier spoke up, "Her Highness has not been poisoned."

Penny stared at Sebastian, her brows furrowed. She knew she couldn't stop them. If Javier said there was no poison, there was none.

Carissa and Violet, not understanding the language, exchanged a look. Since they were already present, they decided to observe.

After examining Lisandra, Sebastian asked Winona to translate questions for Javier.

"Were there any symptoms before she lost consciousness?" Sebastian asked.

Winona translated. Javier explained: "Grand Princess Lisandra has suffered from frequent headaches, especially in the past year. She had several episodes en route to Starhaven. Symptoms include severe headaches and vomiting. This time, after returning from the Diplomatic Affairs Department, she became frenzied, biting people. Javier showed Sebastian Lisandra's medical records. They showed chronic stress, heightened irritability, and an overall health imbalance.

Sebastian looked up calmly. "I've diagnosed her. I'm verifying the results."

Penny glared. "Mr. Glover already told you everything."

Sebastian sighed. "What he said is mostly correct, but not entirely. Grand Princess Lisandra could be considered poisoned."

"That's nonsense!" Penny yelled, her face paling. She lunged forward, but Violet blocked her. Having heard enough, Violet, realizing Penny was the person Travis had warned them about, grabbed Penny firmly.

"Shut up and let Sebastian finish!"

Before Sebastian could respond, Javier interjected, "That's impossible! There are no signs of poisoning. What do you mean she could be poisoned?"
