Chapter 115: Locked Down and Fired Up
Had he forgotten who I am? Ellis wasnโt his docile fiancรฉe anymore, nor the lovestruck girl who used to come and go at his beck and call.
Easton, unfazed by waking her, retorted, โThe whole house is mine; I can sleep wherever I want.โ
Ellis was so furious she was momentarily speechless. Looking around for something to throw at him, her eyes finally settled on the pillow she had been using. Without hesitation, she grabbed it and slammed it into the scumbagโs face.
โHave you no shame? Get out!โ
She recalled the terror of being startled awake by the scumbag breaking into her house late at night before. That time, he had even tried to force himself on her, thankfully without success. Now, feeling the same tingling fear, she wondered if the scumbag was driven by the same vile desires as before, seeing her as nothing more than an object to satisfy his urges.
The pillow, made of soft cotton, didnโt hurt him at all. Easton nonchalantly picked up the pillow that had hit him and placed it back, slowly turning to face the furious woman before him.
โWhy all this tension and agitation? Are you afraid Iโll devour you?โ
Listening to the scumbagโs flippant tone, Ellis felt her whole body seethe with rage.
โYouโre in my bed, and you have the nerve to ask why Iโm upset?โ She jumped out of bed to tower over the still-reclining scumbag. โWould you believe I could stab you right now for being so shameless?โ
Easton closed his eyes and murmured dismissively, โSleep.โ
Telling Ellis to sleep was actually ironic since he wasnโt sleepy himself. He was troubled, tossing and turning, thinking about her words in the hospital about not deserving to bear his children. It was a strange, novel feeling for him, one that poorly managed his emotions. He had considered the possibility of her being pregnant, assuming they would keep the baby, but hadnโt thought about what to do if she didnโt want it, almost certain sheโd terminate the pregnancy if she found out. With his emotions unsettled, sleep was elusive.
Watching Ellis sleep so peacefully reminded him of countless nights past where she would snuggle into his embrace, loving their shared posture as they drifted off. Perhaps driven by insomnia, he had impulsively joined her in bed, wanting to share her sleep.
โGet up!โ Ellis was livid.
Seeing the scumbag lying there unfazed, not heeding her demand, she couldnโt help but try to pull away the blanket covering him.
โYou filthy thing, must you disgust me?โ
After tugging for a while with no success, she wished she could flatten his face with a slipper. Let him be disfigured!

Chapter 115: Locked Down and Fired Up.
His gaze coldly swept over Ellis beside him. โWeโre even now. Youโre just paying back what happened five years ago.โ
The past couldnโt be changed, and having it thrown back at her by the scumbag, Ellis awkwardly covered her eyes. โPaying you back? Heck! The Hudson Groupโs lawyers are suing me for 4.2 million dollars, and havenโt even come after you!โ
โThereโs a solution to this.โ Eastonโs simplest way is to please me in bed.โ
Ellisโs eyes widened in disbelief. The id, as he flung back half the blanket, tapping the bed beside him. Easton must be in his beast mode, unable to find someone else and suddenly remembering her.
To speak another word to the scumbag would be infuriating! She threw on a jacket and dashed toward the door. If she couldnโt escape the house, could she at least escape the room with the scumbag? Sheโd sleep in another room! But no matter how she tried the door handle, the door wouldnโt budge.
Then, as if being helpful, the scumbag informed her, โI had the bodyguards lock the door from the outside; you canโt open it.โ
What kind of sick freak is the scumbag? Did he have to torment me to death?
Ellis straightened up and turned to face Easton, waiting for her to return to bed.
โYouโre the CEO of Hudson Group, the heir to the Hudson family. Canโt you find a woman to satisfy your desires? Coming to meโฆโ Her lack of curse words didnโt stop her from gearing up to unload a lifetimeโs worth of anger on the scumbag.
โWhat are you thinking about? When I say โplease me in bed,โ is that the only thing that comes to your mind?โ Easton slightly sat up, propping his back with a pillow. โIโm a bit insomniac. Figure out a way to put me to sleep.โ
โWho doesnโt know youโre a heartless beast!โ Ellis stood by the door, unmoving. โA bit insomniac? Why donโt you sleep forever then? Just jump off the building; I guarantee you wonโt wake up.โ
โCome here!โ Eastonโs lips curled slightly.
โGo away!โ Ellis shouted.
Sharing the same air with the scumbag was torture enough. To share a bed with him would be unbearable. Moreover, she was certain the scumbag had ulterior motives, planning to lure her back to bed and then make a move.
โIโm asking you to sleep with me to ease my insomnia, not for anything else.โ Easton glanced out the window. โBesides, when have I ever forced you? Havenโt you always been willing? I would never stoop so low.โ
