Iโ€™m the Obsession of My Cold-Hearted Ex Chapter 68: Keys to Conflict

Right then, Ellis wished she could chop him up and toss the pieces somewhere far away! They were arguing, and he nonchalantly pulled her into this, treating her like what? If she didnโ€™t turn him into a eunuch, it would be a disservice to herself!

โ€œYou get off me! Otherwise, I swear Iโ€™ll keep the evidence of your assault and sue you for rape!โ€ Ellis declared decisively. โ€œYouโ€™ll be waiting for jail time!โ€

She wasnโ€™t joking; she was truly determined.

The last time, under the influence of drugs at the mansion, Easton had slept with her, and it was utterly revolting. If it hadnโ€™t been for Carly, who administered the drugs, she would have long since used legal means to sue Easton and make him pay the price he deserved.

If it werenโ€™t for the old times when Ellis tried to please him, Easton might not have felt so negatively towards her now. But lately, she had become increasingly outrageous and even more impolite, his pre-visit chest tightness turning into a boulder blocking his heartโ€™s blood flow.

This unprecedented discomfort lessened his physical desire, and he pursed his lips, โ€œYou talk too sharply; itโ€™s annoying!โ€

โ€œAs if youโ€™re not annoying! You say Iโ€™m sharp-tongued; are your words any better?โ€ Ellis retorted with a cold laugh, quickly blinking away the trace of past pains deep in her eyes.

When you love someone, you canโ€™t help but care about what they do and say all the time!

Easton never cared about her feelings, saying whatever he wanted without regard for words as weapons. He didnโ€™t understand how his light-hearted remarks could cause her severe harm.

No, maybe it wasnโ€™t that he didnโ€™t understand, but rather he knew exactly how to hurt her and did so deliberately.

As Ellis accused him like a plaintiff, Easton sneered, โ€œAre you suggesting I need to reflect on my unpleasant speech?โ€

Hoping someone who doesnโ€™t love you will reflect for your sake! That was undoubtedly a delusional fantasy! Besides, she didnโ€™t love him anymore, so what good would his reflection do?

Ellis ignored Eastonโ€™s question, her expression stone-cold. โ€œYou better get off me fast! Otherwise, Iโ€ฆโ€

โ€œOtherwise, what? Just going to claw and threaten to call the cops?โ€ Easton leaned in closer, his lips near Ellisโ€™s ear. โ€œHave I spoiled you so much that youโ€™ve forgotten your place?โ€

Some people are born on a high cloud, arrogantly looking down on others struggling in the mire. Ellis didnโ€™t consider herself mired. But compared to Easton, where else could she be but in the mud?

Normally, the breath of someone speaking is warm, but at that moment, Eastonโ€™s breath felt as cold as ancient ice.

Ellis felt a chill instead of warmth, perhaps not from his breath but from his remarks about their stark difference in status; his tone suggesting he could crush her like an ant sent a shiver of fear through her, making her temperature drop.

As she stiffened, unsure how to counter Easton, he suddenly got up from the bed.

โ€œIf youโ€™re unwilling, I wonโ€™t force you.โ€ His back to her, his towering frame cast an oppressive shadow. โ€œBut if you donโ€™t follow what I said tonight, and you come crying to me one day, I wonโ€™t show any mercy.โ€

The methods of punishment were varied, and Easton considered which would make Ellis beg the quickest. Unbeknownst to him, Ellis found him really annoying.

Group it was all legal and correct. โ†’ Finished

Mounderstood by him that she had Carly find Sophia to void the prenuptial agreement; she could never clear it up, all thanks to Carly and his distrust. It was a disaster dropped from the sky, totally unjust.

Canโ€™t the heavens just let me live a peaceful and smooth life after I fall out of love with that scumbag? Poor me!

She adjusted her lying position, covered her face with the blanket, not wanting to see Easton who ruined her mood.

Easton continued speaking with his back to her. โ€œOh, by the way, this neighborhood is pretty bad. The security might as well be nonexistent; anyone can get in. And thisโ€ฆ what kind of shabby house is this, with a door thatโ€™s practically just for show, easy to break into?โ€

His words were full of scorn and disdain; Ellis really wanted to retort. But then she thought: why bother with that scumbag? He was a top-tier, rich third-generation; his life was smooth sailing, even at his lowest still far wealthier than her. It was natural for him to look down on her house. Arguing with him was a complete waste of breath!

She pretended not to hear him, thinking to herself, just get out.

Luckily, it seemed like her prayers were answered; the sound of footsteps indicated that Easton was leaving her room, and judging by the fading sound, he was soon out of her apartment.
