Listen to this chapter:

During training camp, Tiffany attempted to sneak out, but the demanding schedule and valuable training opportunities prevented her. Conner remained silent, and Tiffany had to attend to Evan at Richard's residence. Evan was recovering, and Tiffany had promised his recovery within a month, a promise she'd failed to keep.

Once again, Tiffany, as a doctor from Medicine Healer, visited Royal Bay. Upon exiting her car, she heard a familiar tiger roar. Looking toward the sound, she saw Richard, casually dressed in high-end casual wear, sitting beneath a pear tree, hands in his pockets. Bathed in warm sunlight, the scene was picturesque. Richard looked like he'd stepped from a painting; his handsome face was impeccably beautiful, his eyes distant and cold. Tiffany was consistently captivated by his appearance.

Unsure whether to approach, she hesitated. Her current status necessitated caution around Richard. Just as she wavered, Richard opened his eyes, gazing at her with a seemingly amused coldness.

"Come here," he said, his voice clear, low, and husky.

Tiffany approached, smiling warmly. "I didn't expect you to be so free, Mr. Hampton," she teased, her gaze falling on the tiger. Since the last trial, her "big cat" had been sent to Royal Bay. The tiger, though possessing a strong temperament (understandable for the king of beasts), was lying docilely at Richard's feet, occasionally nuzzling his leg.

Animals, unlike humans, are sensitive to both appearance and scent. The tiger, delighted to see Tiffany, instinctively tried to pounce, but she subtly restrained it with a look. The tiger retreated reluctantly, casting furtive glances at its master.

Smiling brightly, Tiffany praised, "Mr. Hampton, is this your pet? What a magnificent cat! May I touch it?"

"Sure," Richard raised an eyebrow.

Tiffany cautiously extended her hand, feigning fear, and secretly slipped several pills into the tiger's mouth. Overjoyed, the tiger eagerly accepted the pills and even shook her hand.

Delighted, Tiffany feigned surprise. "Where did you get it? It's amazing!"

Richard smiled faintly. "Oh, my future wife adopted it, but she's too busy to care for it now, so I took it."

Tiffany nearly choked. She struggled to maintain composure. Seeing her stunned expression, Richard asked with feigned concern, "Miss Wood, you seem surprised." (Note: The reference to a website was removed as it is irrelevant and constitutes advertisement.)

Tiffany, using the alias Jennie Wood provided by June, smiled awkwardly. "I didn't expect you to have a fiancée, Mr. Hampton. You never made it public." She internally rebuked his audacity. Richard, unfazed, proudly replied, "My wife is shy, so I haven't announced it yet."

Tiffany internally raged but maintained a smile. Finally, she excused herself, "I must check on Evan," and fled.

Escaping Richard's intense gaze, Tiffany felt her heart racing. Dismissing the distracting thoughts, she entered Evan's room and treated him as usual. By noon, she was ready to leave, but was asked to stay for lunch. The meal was luxurious, and Tiffany sincerely assured Richard that Evan would recover within five days. Rejecting Richard's offer of transport, she left with June to visit the Lee family.

Conner, waiting at the Lee family's lavish villa, was greeted by a respectful entourage, including a red carpet. Tiffany's arrival was met with awe. However, Conner's reaction upon seeing Tiffany was one of disbelief—no one had mentioned that the famed doctor was a young girl. Mia, forced to participate, mocked Tiffany's supposed expertise.
