Listen to this chapter:

Zany was so scared her heart pounded. However, she pretended to be calm. "Mr. Hampton, you're really in the mood. Sorry to disturb you. I'll take my leave."

She prepared to slip away. However, Richard chuckled and said, "Why? Are you running away when you see me?"

Tiffany stopped. "How can that be?"

To show she wasn't cowardly, Tiffany awkwardly sat down again. There was a distance between them anyway. Was she afraid Richard, who didn't play by the rules, would overwhelm her? Her only surprise was Richard's elevated position.

Tiffany continued paddling. She raised her head and looked at Richard, who had a relaxed expression. "It's so late at night. Are you up the tree to gaze at the moon, Mr. Hampton?"

"Yeah, it's a nice view," he replied.

Richard's gaze was deep as he calmly invited, "Are you coming up for a breather?"

"No, no," Tiffany directly refused. 'Richard is too dangerous. I have to guard against him. Of course, I must stay as far away from him as possible!' she thought.

For a moment, neither spoke. Tiffany paddled leisurely; Richard, leaning against the tree, was equally relaxed.

A cool breeze caressed the shadows; the moonlit night was slightly cold. Tiffany looked up at the starry sky, but her gaze drifted to Richard. He leaned against the tree, his eyes clear and bright, his aura natural and unparalleled. Tiffany blinked. A phrase popped into her head: The outstanding beauty is unique, and there is no other in the world. The praise perfectly described Richard.

Perhaps sensing her lingering gaze, Richard's half-asleep eyes snapped open. His brown eyes seemed engulfed by a suppressed storm. Even his devilishly handsome face turned abnormally red.

Tiffany understood instantly. "You you were drugged?" No wonder he was up the tree in the middle of the night; she thought he was stargazing. She hadn't expected him to be using the wind to cool himself.

Tiffany burst into laughter. "Actually, it's useless to just rely on the wind. You'll be fidgety, Mr. Hampton. Jump down if you don't mind. The water in the pool is cold." She smiled gloatingly.

She suspected Mia had drugged Richard. She didn't know the dosage or ingredients. Now that the drug was taking effect, could Richard withstand it without an antidote?

Of course, Richard could withstand it. Except

When Tiffany spoke, Richard's gaze landed on her happily paddling feet. Her ten toes were as round as pearls, cute and tempting. The water sparkled under the moonlight. The masked girl by the water blocked most of her face, but her bright eyes were extremely cunning. 'The little girl is laughing at me. What a heartless little thing,' Richard thought.

Richard's Adam's apple bobbed. His voice was low. "Oh, I almost forgot. Isn't the Miracle Healer right in front of me?"

Tiffany's laughter stopped abruptly. She could detoxify, but she only wanted to see him suffer and didn't want to help. 'Cure it!' she thought.

Tiffany spread her hands and lied, "I can't do it without medicine. You can't count on me. Goodbye!" She stood, didn't bother with her shoes, and ran, snickering. 'As long as I run fast enough, Richard won't catch me!' she thought.

Seeing the noble Richard suffer a rare defeat, Tiffany laughed. She didn't forget to turn and smile brightly. "Mr. Hampton, don't worry. I won't spout nonsense when I get out! That was impossible!" she laughed loudly.

Tiffany ran fast. Even if Richard wanted to find trouble, he had to get down from the tree and cross the pool. She was confident she could escape.

"You think so?" Richard chuckled. "Little thing, I'm afraid you have some misconception about my strength." His voice was distant and near, soft and ethereal.

Tiffany's alarm bells rang. She turned and saw Richard still in place. She sighed in relief. 'Who is Richard trying to scare?' she thought.

However, the next second, Tiffany, running at full speed, felt her body lighten. The scenery rapidly receded!

What happened? Tiffany thought. She lowered her head and realized her feet had left the ground; she was floating!

"Fk, fk!" Tiffany was dumbfounded. She'd failed spectacularly! She was caught off guard and watched helplessly as she flew uncontrollably into a broad, warm chest

Richard's devilishly handsome face was before her. Tiffany was instantly cowardly, weak, pitiful, and helpless! Only now did she realize Richard was a tyrant-level existence!

Tiffany wouldn't accept any rebuttal! She'd gone overboard! She'd failed!

Tiffany cried, "I beg you. Is it too late for me to beg for mercy now?"

"What do you think?" Richard's last syllable rose. He faintly smiled—a dangerous sign. Tiffany felt the increasing heat on Richard's body. Even his usually cold eyes were now tainted with demonic charm.

"It doesn't matter if you don't have the antidote, because you are the antidote," Richard said, his husky voice breaking.

Tiffany groaned inwardly. She regretted everything! If she'd known, she would never have said she didn't bring the antidote. "No, I'll give it to you. I'll Mm."

Before she finished, Richard closed the distance. Her lips were sealed. Coldness and heat collided. The moon was bright, the wind clear, the tree shadows swayed. The two silhouettes intertwined on the tree like a beautiful painting.

Tiffany couldn't escape. The strength of the hand on her waist was astonishing. After an unknown period, Tiffany felt she was getting harder and harder to breathe.

Coincidentally, Evan was looking for her in the villa with a big cake. "Tiffany? Where are you?" he said. He'd found the pool but left when he saw no one.

Tiffany struggled to respond, but Richard lightly bit her lips as punishment. An ambiguous scent filled the air. This long kiss was extremely provocative

Tiffany snapped out of her daze and formed a plan. She'd go all out! She hugged Richard's waist tightly, then kicked him, and they fell from the tree!

A second before they hit the water, Tiffany heard a chuckle. "You're quite angry." Then, Richard held her tightly and fell into the pool first.

There was a thud, and water splashed everywhere. Tiffany felt their fall slow before entering the water, so the impact wasn't great. Tiffany quickly surfaced and grabbed onto the pool steps. She couldn't swim and was terrified of water. She was completely panicked.

Richard surfaced seconds later, leisurely backstroking, looking at the stars. His leisurely appearance made Tiffany grind her teeth.

"Bastard," Tiffany said.
