This video was like gasoline on a fire. Just as Selena was about to confront Stan, Sandra intervened. “Hold up, Mom! Whoever sent this is just trying to stir up trouble and watch us fall apart.” The theory seemed sound, until it became a personal problem.

Selena was furious, practically shaking. She had endured a lot for Stan. He had been faithful and devoted. But now, just as things were improving, he was chasing other women. No wonder she was losing it.

“Back off! I’m going to knock that lowlife into next week,” Selena snarled, ready to leave.

Sandra blocked her. “Mom, you’re panicking. Think! If this blows up, our family will be ruined.”

But Selena wouldn't listen, so Sandra changed tactics. “Dad’s just lost his mind for a minute. Want to get him back on track? Let’s figure out how to get the money back from him,” Sandra said.

It was clear that money had corrupted Stan. Without it, he wouldn't have been so reckless.

Selena saw the logic. If Stan wouldn't give them the money willingly, she could find a way to quietly transfer it herself. With a plan forming, her anger subsided.

That night, Selena casually asked Stan, “Hey, where did you put that money? We need to keep it hidden, or Charlie might get suspicious.”

“Yeah, I have it. I’m not an idiot,” Stan grumbled, turning over to sleep.

Selena tried everything to coax it from him, but Stan gave her the cold shoulder. Thanks to Sandra’s earlier advice, Selena remained calm.

Under the cover of darkness, while Stan snored, Selena searched his wallet. She checked his accounts, but they were empty. A few dollars, that was it. The twelve million dollars had vanished.

Reality hit Selena hard. She could tolerate his infidelity and coldness, but squandering their savings was unforgivable.

Selena erupted, waking Stan. “Where’s the money? Did you spend it all on your mistresses? Stan, you ungrateful… how could you repay me after all these years?”

Startled and stung by her attack, Stan lashed out, slapping Selena. “You’ve got some nerve!” he snarled.

Selena’s rage exploded. She lunged at him, and they began to fight. The bedroom became a scene of chaos.

The next morning, Tiffany heard the gossip about the previous night's fight—a knockdown, drag-out brawl with hair-pulling and bloody noses, finally broken up by Sandra. Luckily, Charlie was working late and Thalia was asleep.

Tiffany took it in stride. When Stan came downstairs looking battered, she smiled sweetly. “Morning, Uncle Stan,” she chirped.

“Morning,” Stan grunted. He looked like he’d been in a boxing match. Tiffany fought back laughter.

“Going somewhere, Uncle Stan?” Tiffany asked casually, sipping her milk. “I saw this bag the other day; mind picking it up for me if you’re going out? I’ll pay.”

Before Stan could refuse, Tiffany handed him a card. Usually, he would have refused, but he agreed. Tiffany was known for her generosity, and the card probably contained a substantial amount of money.

Just as Stan agreed, Selena emerged from their room. The tension was palpable. Stan fled, leaving his breakfast untouched, with Selena close behind.

Tiffany ate calmly. Then, Sandra’s voice cut through the air. “You’re behind this, aren’t you?”

Tiffany feigned innocence. “What are you talking about? Are you crazy?”

Sandra searched for any sign of guilt, but found none. She realized Tiffany was likely innocent in both the video incident and the missing money. If Tiffany had been involved, she would have already demanded the Olsons leave.

Sandra forced a smile. “Never mind. I’m overthinking.” Tiffany gave her the cold shoulder. “Oh, by the way, Kenneth asked me to hang out tomorrow. Want to join?” Sandra asked, blushing. It was a blatant boast about her relationship with Kenneth.

Normally, this would have bothered Tiffany, but she remained unfazed. “Nah, have fun,” Tiffany replied coolly. “Maybe you can fast-track that trip down the aisle.”

Tiffany was serious about ending things with Kenneth.

Sandra's eyes gleamed at Tiffany's comment. Marrying Kenneth would secure her place in the Harper family.

Watching her parents self-destruct, Sandra decided to take control of her own life.
