Listen to this chapter:

After more than five hours of resuscitation, Sandra was finally wheeled out of the operating theater. She had suffered a hemorrhage following a miscarriage and sterilization surgery the previous day. Her actions—provoking Tiffany—had led to this. The doctors' efforts had saved her life, but she was now infertile.

Following her miscarriage, no one from the Booth family visited. Upon learning of Sandra's infertility, Lauren evicted her, effectively expelling her from the family. Sandra remained unfazed, having already secured half of the Booth family's assets. The family remained unaware of this theft, orchestrated by Miss Hart while Jordan was intoxicated.

Sandra sneered, unconcerned with the Booths. She had recently learned of permanent bodily injury, likely resulting in future complications and a shortened lifespan. This was unacceptable; terrified of death, she seethed at Tiffany's continued well-being. She regretted not killing Tiffany the previous day, instead of merely slapping her.

Finding a comfortable position, Sandra called Miss Hart: "Can you do me a favor? I want to return to the detention center. I…"

"You're not giving up? You'll kill her now?" Miss Hart interrupted.

"Yes," Sandra gritted her teeth. "I can't accept this. I regret not being more ruthless yesterday, so I must kill that woman today! I'll give you another $40,000. You're on good terms with the guard, right? Can you get me back in?"

Miss Hart's reply was chilling: "Forget it. Your target has been released, and the guard disappeared overnight. This involves someone we can't afford to offend. Give it up. This lawsuit will likely fail. Be prepared." The call ended.

Sandra lay in a daze. Tiffany's release and the impending legal defeat were incomprehensible. Tiffany had pushed her, causing the miscarriage; witnesses were present. Why was Tiffany free?

Enraged, Sandra tried to make another call when a man in a suit entered.

"Who?" she asked warily.

The man, Mr. Jackson, identified himself as Miss Kelley's lawyer. He presented a document and a flash drive, stating Sandra was suspected of fabricating the miscarriage. Video evidence existed. He requested a response and apology from Sandra. He left quickly.

Sandra's mind raced. She initially dismissed the evidence but later, skeptically, watched the video. It began with her wedding, showing her emotional plea to Charlie and Thalia, followed by Tiffany's mocking retort and exposure of family scandals.

The video then showed Sandra being pushed, her miscarriage, and, crucially, her late-night visit to the interrogation room, where she viciously attacked Tiffany, attempting to strangle her. Everything was recorded.

Sandra's face paled. The brooch on Tiffany's dress—a hidden camera—was the key. Her meticulously planned revenge had backfired spectacularly. Had she not attempted to kill Tiffany in the detention center, the video might not have been enough to exonerate Tiffany.

She screamed, smashing the laptop. The nurse, hearing the commotion, found Sandra in distress. Within 24 hours, she had been rushed to the emergency room three times. This time, the doctor delivered a grim prognosis: "I'm afraid you won't last more than six months."

Sandra's despair was palpable. Remembering the rumored Miracle Healer, she believed money could buy her life. She was transferred to a wheelchair and taken to Luna Villa for treatment.
