Chapter 515

Richard raised his eyebrows. A hint of playfulness touched his handsome face before he coldly asked, "Why aren't you running away?"

Only then did Tiffany remember her past behavior. When pursuing Kenneth, she'd instinctively shrink away and flee at the sight of Richard, rarely daring to meet his gaze.

But now, things were different. Intimacy with Richard had changed her. There was no need to run.

She pounced, pouting with tears in her eyes. "Richard."

He was surprised. This cowardly crybaby wasn't fleeing; she was hugging his waist. His eyes twitched, his handsome face darkening with anger and a hint of killing intent.

Tiffany's heart pounded. Knowing Richard hated such familiarity, she regretted her impulsive hug, fearing retribution. Terror made her shiver, yet she couldn't let go.

Raising her head, she looked at him through tears, sobbing, "I'm your future wife. How can you?"

Richard was speechless. Did she forget her medicine, or take the wrong one?

His handsome face darkened further. Angry laughter escaped him. He grabbed her neck, coldly saying, "Let go."

"No!" She hugged him tighter. His strong waist ignited her imagination, causing her to blush and quickly curb her thoughts.

Richard tightened his grip, about to throw her away, but her pained hiss made him relent. He loosened his hold. "Let go."

"No, I won't," she replied firmly.

Speechless and helpless, he carried her horizontally out of the bamboo forest. Many guests were present; they could be seen by anyone inside or outside the manor. If someone sees the Harper family's future daughter-in-law hugging me, rumors will fly, and Kenneth will be unhappy. He couldn't understand her persistence.

Chapter 515

Richard strode out, but he was wrong. Tiffany remained clinging to him like an octopus, determined to stay close.

Speechless, Richard's expression darkened. After a short distance, he returned to the bamboo forest and threw her onto the soft pile of fallen leaves. Even his attempt to cushion her fall felt inexplicable. Since when have I been so soft-hearted?

Despite the gentle landing, Tiffany pretended to be hurt, feigning tears. "Boohoo, I've said I'm your future wife! Why are you so fierce? Stupid man, I won't talk to you anymore"

"Future wife?" Richard's sinister voice sounded.

He leaned closer, their breaths mingling, their noses touching. A kiss was imminent.

"Girl, are you trying to scam me?" he asked.

"No, I'm serious," she replied earnestly, her eyes filled with seriousness and innocence.

He saw a teenager with the captivating allure of a dangerous woman. Her expressive, moist eyes were seductive, as were her red lips.

Without thinking, he kissed her. It was slightly cold, yet sweet, like jelly or cotton candy. He deepened the kiss, holding the back of her head.

Tiffany's heart pounded. This was too fast. Aware of nearby footsteps, she blushed.

Eventually, Richard released her. "Do you believe me now? I'm telling the truth," she asked.

A low, mocking laugh escaped him. "Your kissing skills are barely passable. Did Kenneth teach you that?"

Chapter 515

Tiffany choked. "It's you! It's you!"

She'd barely held Kenneth's hand, never kissed him. While she and Richard hadn't reached intimacy before, he'd kissed her repeatedly, each kiss becoming more passionate, only stopped by their ruined engagement party.

Richard didn't seem convinced. He left swiftly, leaving Tiffany fuming in the bamboo forest.

The Treasure Box gloated, "Master, you seem to have hit a snag."

"Shut up," Tiffany snapped.

"Ahem. What you're experiencing has happened before. No matter what you do, everything will reset tomorrow."

"Reset?"

"Mr. Hampton won't remember kissing you. Everything will follow the original trajectory."

"So I'll face death again?"

"That's right."

Tiffany fell silent. Time was jumping and changing.

After the bamboo forest incident, she sought Richard again at Royal Bay, repeatedly, even after his rejections. She couldn't get enough of him.

But back in the real world, Richard lay on his deathbed, his pulse weak. Tiffany realized the fragility of life, remembering Ryan's death and her grandfather, Victor, poisoned by his family.

She wanted to cherish each day. She waited for Richard at Royal Bay, repeatedly calling out, "Richard, listen carefully. I'm your future wife."
