Listen to this chapter:

Tiffany knew Regan was honest and couldn't have intentionally harmed them. This was why Tiffany only questioned her; otherwise, in her fury, she would have sent Regan to prison. Before Tiffany returned to this time, Sandra and her family had ruined Tiffany's brother and destroyed her family. The tragedy was about to repeat itself. One misstep, and Tiffany would lose her family again. She was already showing remarkable restraint by not implicating the accomplice.

Thalia and Charlie exchanged confused glances. "Tiffany, what happened? Could this be a misunderstanding?" they asked.

"There's poison in this soup, deadly poison. A few sips would cause immediate death," Tiffany said.

Her words hit like a bombshell, leaving everyone dazed, especially Charlie and Thalia, who were about to eat. Their faces turned deathly pale.

Regan cried out, "Miss Kelley, how can you accuse me? It's clam chowder! If you don't believe me, I'll drink it!" She trembled, reaching for the spoon, but Tiffany knocked it away.

"Eric, go to my room and get the black box from the second drawer," Tiffany instructed.

"Got it," Eric replied, obeying without question. He quickly retrieved the box. Tiffany opened it, took out a silver needle, and dipped it into the soup to test for poison.

Regan said bitterly, "Miss Kelley, I don't know what I did to offend you, but you're framing me with this needle. I…"

Before she finished, the needle turned black. Everyone was stunned, especially Regan. Tiffany had used the needle to save Regan's life and reveal the truth—the soup was poisoned.

Tiffany sneered, "Still want to drink?"

Regan said, "Miss… I… I didn't mean it. I didn't know…"

Tiffany said, "Then tell me everything you know."

Tiffany mentioned Stan and Selena. Charlie, visibly shaken, asked, "Tiffany, are you saying this was Stan's doing?"

Regan confessed everything, including the remaining toxic mushroom. "It's the truth!" she cried. "Selena deceived me! Otherwise, how could I do something so heinous?"

Charlie's forehead veins bulged with anger. Thalia, trembling with rage, said, "For years, we treated them well. Even a dog knows gratitude. But this family? They're heartless! They poisoned us!" Overwhelmed, she stumbled back. Eric quickly supported her. "Mom, don't stress. They're not worth it."

Charlie, feeling guilty and angry, consoled his wife. "Don't worry, dear. This time, I won't be soft. I'll make sure they go to prison. Stan will never be my brother again."

Thalia, still upset, blamed Charlie for his earlier leniency. Charlie, at a loss, asked Tiffany, "Sweetheart, when did you realize they were so malicious?"

"A long time ago," Tiffany said, smiling slightly. "When they embezzled company funds, sabotaged your car brakes, and poisoned us."

Each scheme made Charlie's blood run cold. He was stunned to realize that the car accident had been Selena and Stan's doing.

Tiffany's smile faded. "Dad, now that you know, will you still go easy on them?" she asked seriously. She'd asked him this before, after her kidnapping, but he hadn't taken it seriously.

After a long silence, Charlie sighed. "Sweetheart, I'm sorry. I've let you down. But not anymore."

"What will you do?" Tiffany asked.

"With evidence and witnesses, I'll send Stan and Selena to jail. They'll never get out," Charlie said with conviction, beginning to make arrangements.

Tiffany didn't stop him, nor did she tell him she'd already arranged for Stan's capture. Putting him in jail would be too kind. She wanted an eye for an eye.

Outside, Stan had been watching. He thought they should be dead by now. Cedar Ridge Villa remained calm. Worried his plan would fail, he got out of his car to scout the area. Before he could move, however, he was struck unconscious. His gasoline-laden car was driven away.

That night, Stan vanished. Selena fled, leaving only trash in her rental. She remained a wanted fugitive. Sandra remained at school, but Charlie disowned her from the Kelley family. Thalia and Eric approved.

Eric clapped. "Finally, they're gone!"

Tiffany said nothing. It wasn't enough. She thought, 'Sandra wants to climb her way up, doesn't she?' Tiffany's eyes gleamed. She would grant Sandra's wish.
