Chapter 589

There was no mistake. This was the vixen who wanted his life. Richard sighed. His eyes blazed with carnal hunger. They slept soundly all night.

The next morning, Tiffany put on a beautiful blue dress and went downstairs. Shortly after, Richard emerged in a matching blue suit. They looked as though they’d coordinated their outfits.

The residents of Luna Villa were unsurprised by their affectionate displays. The housekeepers merely smiled discreetly from time to time.

After breakfast, Tiffany and Richard entered their car. John, the driver, was about to start the engine when Wilma suddenly appeared, her gaze greedy. "Miss," she pleaded, "Can I go with you?"

Wilma's avarice was evident. The car's luxury was alluring; a ride would provide ample bragging rights.

Tiffany responded calmly, "Just wait. I'll arrange for someone to pick you up." The luxury car sped away, leaving Wilma rooted to the spot.

Observing Wilma's behavior, June frowned in disgust. Remembering Tiffany's instructions, however, she patiently said, "What's the hurry? I'll take you later."

"Yes, yes," Wilma agreed meekly.

The luxury car arrived at Lovell City School. Its gleaming body and exclusive license plate immediately drew attention. "Look, that's Mr. Hampton's car!" someone exclaimed. "Mr. Hampton personally drove Tiffany to school again? Oh my god, I'm so envious!"

Nearby girls gasped, their faces a mixture of envy, jealousy, and hatred.

As expected, Tiffany's slender figure emerged, her long blue dress swaying elegantly. In the morning sun, her eyes shone with clarity; her expression was distant and beautiful. Her appearance seemed to dim the sun itself, yet she radiated a dazzling light that surpassed it. The girls were envious; the boys, captivated.

Unfazed, Tiffany remained composed. Exiting the car, she winked at Richard; an indescribable allure lingered in her eyes.

"Little vixen," Richard chuckled softly. If the timing were right, he would have pulled her into his arms.

The car sped away, leaving Tiffany to stroll leisurely into the school. Zoe caught up, calling, "Tiffany, Tiffany, wait for me!"

Tiffany stopped, but her gaze instinctively flicked towards a tree, where the scheming Melody stood hidden. Melody had been observing for five or six minutes.

Tiffany raised an eyebrow and smiled. The experiment had clearly succeeded; Melody's stealthy behavior confirmed it. She was searching for an opportunity to kidnap Tiffany, deliver her to Felix, and proceed with the mind-swap experiment.

Tiffany lowered her gaze, but her smile remained. While hoping for Melody's success, she remained prepared, feigning ignorance. Melody's vigilance demanded this; any suspicion would ruin the plan. Tiffany simply hoped Melody wouldn't disappoint her.

After more than ten seconds, Zoe reached her, breathlessly offering milk. "Tiffany, drink this. I found a new milk shop; it's delicious."

"Okay," Tiffany replied, intrigued. She opened the lid, inserted the straw, and drank it quickly while walking towards the classroom.

Midway, she clutched her stomach, feigning pain. "Zoe, go to class. I need to use the restroom."

"Huh? Is it the milk?" Zoe, ever righteous, refused to leave Tiffany alone. "I'll come with you. Are you serious? Should we go to the medical room?"

"Just go to class," Tiffany insisted, "Class is starting. The teacher will scold us if we're late. Tell the teacher about my condition."

"Fine," Zoe agreed, running towards the classroom.

Tiffany straightened up, pursed her lips, and entered the first-floor girls' restroom of the technology building.

The restroom was quiet; even the rustling leaves were audible. However, Tiffany also heard faint footsteps – someone was tiptoeing carefully. Her excellent hearing caught the sound; she immediately amplified her feigned pain.

Leaning against the sink, Tiffany doubled over, her slender figure trembling slightly. The footsteps drew nearer.

Melody's palms were sweaty as she approached the restroom, having followed Tiffany. Seeing Zoe rush to class, she knew her time was limited. Tiffany was alone, experiencing a supposed stomachache—the perfect opportunity. Missing this chance might be fatal. Gripping the stun baton hidden in her jacket, Melody entered.

She saw Tiffany curled up by the sink, her back turned. Tiffany's pale face and sweaty brow were visible. Seemingly overcome with pain, Tiffany called out without looking up, "Zoe, quickly, take me to the hospital!"

Melody lunged forward, deploying the stun baton with force. Tiffany stiffened and fell.

A smug smile spread across Melody's face. The deed was done.
