Chapter 627

Molly frowned, lifted her dress slightly, and followed Daisy. "Stop right there!"

Daisy ignored her and continued walking. Just then, Sidney emerged from a VIP room. Daisy's eyes lit up as she spotted him, hurrying over. "Mr. Pauley, do you know where Mr. Hampton is?"

Sidney offered a half-smile. He hadn't liked her during their earlier car ride, but out of respect for Thalia, he remained silent. Seeing her eager approach, he suspected a hidden agenda.

"Why? Do you need something from Mr. Hampton?" Sidney asked.

"Of course I do!" Daisy blurted, missing the sarcasm in Sidney's tone. "Hurry up and tell me. Where is he?"

Sidney's smile remained, but the warmth faded, replaced by a subtle chill.

Molly caught up. Seeing the situation, she stamped her foot in frustration and pulled her sister back. "I'm so sorry. My sister was just trying to find Tiffany. She didn't mean anything else," Molly apologized.

She tried to smooth things over, but Daisy refused to cooperate. Shrugging off Molly's hand, she snapped, "Why are you so nosy? Leave me alone!"

As they bickered, Sidney turned and left. Without looking back, he instructed his staff, "Keep an eye on them. If they cause any trouble, throw them out."

"Understood!" The staff replied immediately.

Daisy tried to chase after him, but the staff blocked her. "Miss, please don't wander. Otherwise, we'll have to ask you to leave," one said politely, though the tone brooked no argument.

Daisy glared and yelled, "I'm looking for my cousin! She's Mrs. Hampton, your boss's wife! How dare you stop me? Get out of my way!"

Daisy attempted to push past, but Molly firmly grabbed her arm and pulled her back. "Enough! Stop embarrassing Tiffany. Stay in the main hall. If you act out again, I'll tell Dad!"

Their father was known for his harsh discipline. A single complaint would inevitably lead to strict punishment—the only way to control Daisy.

"You…" Daisy sneered. "Fine, you win this time."

Still, she thought, Even if I don't get the chance now, I'll find a way to see him. Just wait and see!

The sisters returned to the main hall. Seeing Daisy calm down, Molly breathed a sigh of relief.

More guests arrived. The extravagant, multi-million-dollar wedding attracted countless attendees. Even uninvited guests attempted to sneak in, but the Hampton family's security team stopped them at the entrance.

To ensure safety and a smooth wedding, even invited guests underwent rigorous checks, including facial and fingerprint recognition. While skilled impersonators might bypass facial scans, fingerprints were much harder to fake, making the process incredibly secure.

Though wealthy and influential, the guests didn't mind the security protocols. The bridegroom was Richard, and his name alone commanded respect.

From a distance, a car approached the hotel. A security guard stepped forward. "Hi, may I see your invitation?"

"I don't have one," Morwen said, removing her sunglasses to reveal her heavily made-up face. She looked at the guard arrogantly. "Don't you know who I am? Do I need an invitation?"

"I'm sorry," the guard replied impassively. "No matter who you are, without an invitation, you cannot enter." He gestured to the other guards, who stepped forward, ready to escort Morwen away.

"How dare you!" Morwen's face turned livid. Accustomed to a privileged life as the Azure Sea Royal Family Saintess, she'd never faced such humiliation.

She decided to force her way in. Slamming the gas pedal, she drove straight toward the hotel, ignoring the risk of hitting anyone.

The guards quickly moved aside. Morwen smirked, but her smile froze. The gate remained closed, and barriers rose from the ground. Her car crashed into a barrier with a loud bang. Her head hit the steering wheel; she saw stars.

She hadn't expected this.

When Morwen stumbled out, her regal composure was gone. Her hair was disheveled, her face deathly pale, but her tone grew harsher. "You reckless fools! Just wait! Once I see Mr. Hampton, I'll have your heads for this!"

The guards remained impassive. They grabbed her and unceremoniously tossed her onto the road.

A photographer, recording the wedding, inadvertently captured Morwen's embarrassing ejection. It was utter humiliation.

Seething, Morwen glared at the guards, but they remained unfazed, calmly moving her wrecked car aside.

Morwen had spent the morning dressing impeccably, aiming to captivate any man. With her love poison, she was sure Richard would fall for her instantly. She planned to arrive just before the ceremony and ruin it. Richard would leave with her, leaving Tiffany humiliated. She'd imagined the scene with glee. But she'd overlooked the first step: she couldn't even enter the hotel. Without that, the love poison was useless.

But she wouldn't give up easily. Morwen decided to call Kenneth.

He answered quickly. "What is it?"

"I can't get into the hotel," Morwen said, her voice laced with embarrassment.

Kenneth paused, surprised. Still, their partnership demanded action.

Kenneth said, "Give me five minutes. I'll be there."

"Alright." Morwen hung up, sighing in relief.

Five minutes later, a sports car roared closer. Kenneth had arrived. Morwen waved. "I'm here!"

The car stopped. Kenneth frowned. "Get in." He didn't want to be seen with Morwen; Tiffany's sharp instincts might figure things out. But Morwen was useless alone, so he took the risk.
