Listen to this chapter:

Mia quickly hid the bracelet and said angrily, "How dare you break into my room? Get out!" Tiffany raised an eyebrow, her expression amused and derisive.

"Oh, don't worry. I'm not here to reason with you. I'm just here to take back what's mine." She leisurely pulled a stool from the vanity, sat down, and crossed her long legs elegantly. Her poise and dignity were more commanding master than intruder.

Mia's anxiety spiked. She knew from a previous encounter that Tiffany was formidable—she'd once been stuffed into a basketball hoop while her Taekwondo friends were knocked out. That's why Mia hadn't confronted Tiffany directly. Instead, she'd had someone steal the bracelet, figuring Tiffany couldn't act without evidence.

But Tiffany had come to confront her.

Mia scoffed. "How could your thing possibly be here? You've got the wrong person."

"Like I said, I'm not here to reason with you," Tiffany smiled, slowly advancing. "So, are you going to give it back, or should I make you beg for mercy?"

Her words, though soft, carried intense pressure.

"What exactly should I give back? I don't know what you're talking about. Maybe you could give me a hint?" Mia stalled, secretly dialing for help under the blanket. The apartment had security guards; a call would bring them in three minutes. Tiffany's unconcerned smile betrayed her knowledge of Mia's ploy. "Looks like you're still not taking me seriously." Tiffany grabbed Mia through the blanket, yanking her to the floor. "Ah!" Mia screamed as her head hit the ground.

Shocked and furious, Mia gritted her teeth. "You bitch! How dare you do this to me! I'll make you pay!"

Tiffany slapped Mia's forehead. "Really? You stole my thing and still have the cheek to play the victim?" If the bracelet weren't so valuable (a gift), Tiffany would have discarded it after Mia touched it.

"Let go of me!" Mia struggled, but Tiffany's grip was strong.

"Where's my stuff?" Tiffany remained calm. "Cooperate and save yourself humiliation."

Defeated, Mia said, "I'll give it to you! Now let go!"

Tiffany released her. Mia stood, half her face red and burning from the cold tiles. It felt like being caught between fire and ice.

Though furious, Mia didn't dare provoke Tiffany further. She reluctantly pulled out the bracelet and tossed it. Tiffany caught it; it was undamaged. She smoothly climbed out the window and disappeared.

Mia stomped her feet, then cried and called her father, complaining about being bullied and demanding a bodyguard and the termination of his collaboration with the Kelley Group. Unfortunately, the Lee family's real estate business didn't intersect with the Kelley family's, and Conner was preoccupied. He brushed her off.

Mia was furious and vowed revenge.

Conner asked the butler, "Has the Miracle Healer responded?"

"No, sir," the butler replied. "Shall I extend another invitation?"

"Yes, talk to June again. Get him here before my next episode, no matter the terms!"

"Yes, sir."

When Tiffany returned home, Zoe asked, "Back so soon? Did you get it back?"

Tiffany showed the bracelet.

"So, it was her!" Zoe cursed, then handed Tiffany her phone. "Did you see this news? It's about the summer camp."

Tiffany checked the announcement: Lovell City's higher education institutions were organizing a joint summer camp, based on academic performance. Tiffany, having excelled, was on the shortlist, alongside Kenneth, Sandra, Ged, and others.
