Listen to this chapter:

Oh, shoot. I'm trapped, Tiffany thought.

Tiffany worried about being discovered, but her acting was convincing. She smiled and said, "When the servant came, she seemed flustered. Although she hid it well, I noticed. I'd rather it be my mistake than risk anything dangerous, Mr. Hampton. I hope you're not angry." Tiffany looked perfectly normal. She couldn't reveal her ability to identify poisons, so she spoke vaguely.

However, she sounded serious and convincing.

Richard raised an eyebrow. His stunning face remained impassive. "Of course not. Thank you."

"It's nothing," Tiffany replied, her words merely a performance. "I even earned a significant commission from your generous spending at the last Appraisal Conference, Mr. Hampton."

Tiffany checked the time and was about to leave when Richard spoke. "Where are you going? I'll send you."

Before Tiffany could answer, the driver, who had been trying to be inconspicuous, started the car.

Tiffany could only comply. "Treasure Tower."

The car drove toward Treasure Tower. Silence filled the car.

Looking at the blurring cityscape, Tiffany reflected on the events at Hampton Manor. The coffee had clearly been tampered with, but Richard hadn't let her mention it. Moreover, it contained a slow-acting poison. It wouldn't kill immediately, but the long-term damage would be significant. "He must know something but doesn't want to reveal it," Tiffany thought. "It seems living in a wealthy family isn't always easy, despite the envy."

Soon, the car stopped at Treasure Tower's entrance.

Tiffany got out and nodded. "Thank you."

Inside Treasure Tower, several experienced appraisers complained that a newcomer—a young girl—had taken all the best items. They couldn't accept it and ganged up to criticize Tiffany to the shopkeeper, Frank. They noticed a car parked outside.

Seeing the understated luxury car—worth hundreds of thousands of dollars—and its unique license plate, they were ecstatic, believing a big deal was afoot. Then they saw the young girl they'd been criticizing casually exiting the car, Richard's cold face visible in the window.

Everyone gasped! They hadn't expected her to be so ostentatious! Richard Hampton, head of the family, had personally driven her back. This was unprecedented.

The experienced appraisers were speechless. They'd been prepared to reprimand Tiffany for breaking the rules upon her return, but now it was impossible.

Frank, after an initial shock, immediately smiled. He'd known Tiffany wasn't ordinary, but she was even more impressive than he'd thought. Richard had never shown interest in the Appraisal Conference before, yet he'd attended last time and spent a fortune. Frank surmised it was for Tiffany.

Smiling knowingly, Frank personally greeted Tiffany at the door. "How did it go?" he asked.

"Fine," Tiffany replied, handing Frank her check. It was her reward, though Treasure Tower would take over half.

"Frank, I have to go. Call if anything comes up." Tiffany was the only appraiser who didn't stay all day, so her reward was smaller. However, she was efficient and lucky, consistently making significant profits. The others were jealous but helpless.

Frank quickly transferred her payment. Tiffany, worried about the company's cash flow, was about to transfer some to Caleb when she received a text message: $400,000 had been deposited into her account.

Tiffany was stunned. "Is the company profitable already? That's fast!" She'd left everything to Caleb and expected it to take longer to turn a profit, planning to support it initially.

Then, Caleb called.

Tiffany asked, "What's going on?"

"The company's profitable!" Caleb exclaimed, his voice brimming with excitement and ambition. "Last month's net profit was only $400,000, but believe me, I'll make it even better! It'll be one of Lovell City's top companies, I swear. Trust me."

Tiffany smiled sincerely and confidently. "I know you can. I've never doubted it."

Nothing could be more motivating. Caleb nodded emphatically. "Thank you, Boss." He wouldn't forget the dark times when he'd been alone and helpless, only Tiffany having reached out. He felt he owed her everything.

Tiffany was unaware of Caleb's emotional response. She was simply stating the truth. In her past life, Caleb had worked for Kenneth, managing the company well and becoming his best asset. Even Tiffany hadn't anticipated her words would inspire such loyalty, leading the company to future dominance and record-breaking market value, making her incredibly wealthy.

Tiffany was thrilled with the company's success and offered further encouragement before hanging up. It was still early; she had more to do. She needed to go to Royal Bay.

As usual, June arrived to pick her up. Seeing no one around, Tiffany quickly got into the car. The tinted windows ensured privacy. Tiffany changed her clothes and appearance, transforming from the unassuming appraiser into the elegant owner of Miracle Healer.

June was curious. "Ms. Kelley, didn't you have an assignment today? Why were you still at Treasure Tower?"

"I was given a ride back," Tiffany replied, feeling slightly helpless but grateful for Richard's kindness, despite the detour.

June nodded understandingly. "But why put yourself through that? The Miracle Healer name alone is enough to make money."
