Ignoring him, she addressed the assembled family members. "I wish to say something important. I hope you will overlook today's incident. Whatever Ralph said was a joke; please disregard it."

"You, shut up!" Margaret's voice trembled with fury. "Stop!"
"Mom, everyone knows. There's no point hiding it. Tell them the truth! Alex deserves to know if he's my brother's son. No one should be kept in the dark. He might even want to find his biological father," Ralph said, looking smugly at Alexander.
