"No, Aunt Tasia..." Galen pointed inside with his little finger.

"Lily, you're back!" Anastasia exclaimed with a smile. She sat at the dining table, the food untouched. Lily was surprised; Anastasia usually finished her meal by now.

"What's wrong? Is today's food not to your liking?" Lily had personally chosen the dishes, avoiding Anastasia's dislikes.

"No, it's not that!" Anastasia smiled faintly. "I just wanted to wait for you to come back so we can eat together."

"Oh?" Lily surveyed the roasted chicken thighs with sautéed mushrooms, steamed egg, steamed sea bass, and salad. The food looked cold, clearly served some time ago. Lily had informed the maids of Anastasia's usual mealtime, yet it was already past that hour. She didn't comment, instead seating Galen and herself before saying, "I'll get the maids to reheat the food."

"Lily, I know I've been troubling you to care for me these past two days," Anastasia said, sitting across from Lily.

Lily shook her head. "Why are you suddenly being so courteous? I told you I'm going to charge you for your food at the end of the month!"

Anastasia chuckled. "I know you're not serious about that, and I also know you're doing this for my own good. I feel like I've relaxed a lot these past two days. My body doesn't feel as tired as before, and eating isn't as stressful either."

"Isn't that a good thing?" Lily knew Anastasia had more to say but patiently waited.

"Yes..." Anastasia struggled to find the right words, but having waited for Lily, she clearly wished to confide in her.

The reheated dishes arrived, momentarily diverting their attention. As the maids served, Lily scooped some steamed egg for Galen, then carefully deboned a piece of fish for him.

Anastasia noticed Lily was about to eat and asked curiously, "Lily, are you eating this food too? These are diet foods. Do you want to add some other dishes?"

"Who said these are diet foods? Besides, even if they are, children can still eat them. There are enough nutrients. Don't worry. There's enough food for everyone, and it will surely fill you up." Lily placed the fish in Galen's bowl. A cheerful "thank you, Mummy" followed.
