"The miracle doctor!" Maria exclaimed excitedly. Rhea turned to look at her wordlessly. Fabian, too shocked to speak, simply echoed, "The miracle doctor?"

"Yes! He treated Tasia. He discovered she'd been poisoned and helped her recover. Even Cameron gives him credit," Maria explained. "He's rigid, but he repays kindness. If he puts in a good word, getting Cameron's help might be possible." The thought elated her.

Rhea remained silent. Fabian frowned. "Would he help us? I recall him being…cocky."

Maria coughed, nudging her husband. "He has quirks, but he treated Tasia willingly. He's easy to talk to, actually. I paid him handsomely; a recommendation shouldn't be a problem."

"Then call him!" Fabian urged, understanding dawning on him.

"I just thought of it!" Maria pulled out her phone and dialed. She hung up, looking at Fabian. "His phone's off!"

"I knew it!" Fabian's hope vanished, replaced by anger. "What did I say? Why rely on others? Even if he did talk to Cameron, it might not work. Cameron isn't human!"

"Then I don't know what to do," Maria sighed, also puzzled by the doctor's unavailable phone.

Just then, a voice cut through the air: "Really, now?"

Fabian spun around, astounded to see Cameron, Anastasia smiling and clinging to his arm. Fabian froze under Cameron's displeased gaze. They'd just returned from shopping; Anastasia was in high spirits, a rare occurrence. Cameron had left the shopping bags in the car and decided to walk with his daughter, unexpectedly encountering the trio talking about him.

Caught red-handed, Fabian felt his face flush. He stammered, "R-Ron, you're back…"

Cameron merely hummed and walked past, ignoring him. The servant, alerted by the surveillance camera, opened the door. As Cameron and Anastasia were about to enter, Fabian recovered, rushing forward. "Ron, we need to talk."

"Is there a day you don't need to talk?" Cameron glanced at him sideways.

Fabian faltered, but Maria intervened. "Ron, we're here to apologize. Rhea feels she was wrong and wants to apologize personally to Tasia." She gestured to Rhea. "Ree, come! Apologize to Tasia now!"
