Fred recalled Lily's actions from his spying and asked the doctor, "Can't you just feel my wrist and tell me if I'm poisoned?"

The doctor replied calmly, "You mean checking your pulse? I'm sorry, I haven't received that training. I've tried, but I couldn't master it." He looked regretful as Fred rolled his eyes.

After drawing blood, Fred pressed sterile cotton to his vein and stood. "How long for the results?"

"About thirty minutes," the doctor replied.

"Thirty minutes again?" Fred gritted his teeth. "Fine. Report to me immediately." He thought, If the analysis shows I'm not poisoned, Lily will pay!

As he left, someone burst in. "Your Grace, those men are sanitizing the embassy!"

"What?!" Fred's eyes widened. "Without my permission?!"

The hazmat-suited men claimed their superiors had sent written notice, and the embassy staff, lacking Fred's authorization, hadn't dared intervene. "They've gone too far!" Fred threw the bloodied cotton. "Take me to them!"

He stormed ahead, soon encountering a man spraying disinfectant.

"Stop!" Fred's voice was sharp. "You're not allowed here! This is the embassy! How dare you enter without my permission?"

The man calmly replied, "It's the embassy, Your Grace, but we're in Hyderland. We're disinfecting for your workers' safety. Please cooperate."

Fred retorted, "I don't know what you're spraying. How can I be sure you're not stealing classified information? Get out of the embassy!"

"We're just following orders, Your Grace."

"No one notified me! And I don't take orders from you. I'm Yudonian, not a Hylander!" Fred declared arrogantly.

When the man remained unmoved, Fred snapped, "Escort them out!"

"Yes, sir!" His subordinates were about to act when Fred's phone rang insistently. He hesitated, recognizing the limited number of people with his private number. He checked the caller ID, shocked. Glancing at the Hyderland officer, he turned and answered.
