"Nothing but time is needed," Austin said, shaking his head. "He didn't say anything important. Perhaps because we were under surveillance."

"He already told us what we needed to know," Alexander replied solemnly.

Austin and Mike were puzzled. "He did?" they asked simultaneously.

"What we can't do, others can do for us," Alexander said. "Who do you think Dom's talking about?"

The other two exchanged puzzled glances and shook their heads.

"Why did he stress it was beyond us when we already knew it involved the embassy?" Alexander asked.

Again, they shook their heads.

"Because Dominic discovered something important."

"What was it?" Mike and Austin asked in unison, surprised at their simultaneous query.

"Dominic found out that the real mastermind isn't the embassy or Fred, but Queen Yasmin."

"But we know that," Austin said, puzzled.

"Dominic probably didn't know that we do," Alexander explained. "Since Queen Yasmin controls everything, he knows there's nothing we can do. However, he also reminded us that someone else could handle it."

"Who?"

"Secretary Rollins," Alexander said. "Or should I say, the government."

Mike fell silent, then asked, "Do we have to go that far?" He had dealt with politicians before, but never directly with the government.

"We have to," Alexander said solemnly. It was a first for him too, and his anxiety remained. He was only holding it together thanks to his three children. He missed Lily terribly, especially since she'd been away even before the twins were born, and worried about her safety. He had to find a solution.

"Secretary Rollins has been making arrangements, but he couldn't give us details," Alexander continued. "As Dominic said, we need time. And not just us. Queen Yasmin, too."

"More like she needs time to complete the experiment, right?" Austin said. "Anyway, she has everything under control now. What's she waiting for?"

Alexander looked up. "Fred wanted to make the queen his guinea pig. What if it's the other way around now?"
