Chapter 751

Early one morning, Arianna knocked on Nathaniel's door. Nathaniel, yawning and rubbing sleepy eyes, answered the door with irritation.

"Can you please not knock so early next time? Even if you don't need sleep, others do," he grumbled.

"I need all the information you have on Lily Christian," Arianna stated, stepping inside.

Nathaniel, stunned, stopped mid-sentence and stared at her. "What?"

"I want a detailed report on Lilyโ€”as detailed as possible." She sat on the sofa, placed her handbag down, and looked severe.

Nathaniel, having heard her clearly, laughed. He grabbed a beer from the refrigerator, offering one to Arianna. She rejected it with a frown.

"How can you drink this in the morning?" she asked incredulously.

"I'm always awake," he replied, gulping down his beer and burping with satisfaction. "Why are you suddenly asking for this report? Lily's famous now. Just Google her; you don't need my help." He took another swig.

"I need details you can't find online," Arianna said impatiently, her urgency apparent. "As soon as possible!"

This piqued Nathaniel's curiosity. "What do you need it for?"

"Something important! You dated her for a long time; you must know things others don't," Arianna said, lifting a finger. "Everythingโ€”from when you first met, her school days, even her experience starting the company with you!"

Nathaniel, tasting his beer, grew thoughtful. "Who is this information for?"

"It's none of your business! Do I have to answer to you? Just get me the report as soon as possible!" After a pause, she softened her tone slightly. "Don't worry, we're on the same team. Or are you still hung up on her? Don't forget how she ruined your company, your reputation, everything. You're still not over the shame she brought you?"

Her words hit home, bringing up painful truths Nathaniel had avoided. The thought of his former admirer bringing him to ruin tormented him.

"Enough!" he snapped, crushing his beer can. "You know nothing about us!"

"We don't need to, just give me the report. I need it before noon," Arianna insisted.

"Why the rush? Trying to impress someone?" Nathaniel teased, a smirk on his face. He paused, considering. "You're not trying to impress Noah Richards, are you?"

"It's none of your concern!" Arianna retorted angrily.
