Arianna answered her phone expectantly, but her expression quickly shifted. "What did you say?" she demanded.

Joseph, noticing his daughter's distress, asked, "What happened? Is it about your uncle?"

Arianna ignored him, grimly finishing the call before smashing the phone. "That fucking asshole!" she spat.

Her parents had never seen her so enraged. The phone lay in smithereens, Arianna as pale as a sheet.

"What's wrong, Ari?" Eloise asked gently, ceasing her work.

Arianna glared, a chilling smile playing on her lips. "You've raised a fucking..."

Eloise, stunned and panicked, stammered, "What are you talking about?"

Alarmed, Eloise glanced at Joseph, who regarded them both suspiciously. "Ari, what did you say?" he asked.

Arianna remained silent, her gaze fixed on Eloise, burning with resentment and hatred. Eloise, disturbed, hesitated to press further.

At that moment, police officers arrived. "Ms. Arianna Tanner, you're under arrest for suspicion of market manipulation, threats, slander, and kidnapping. Please come with us."

Joseph and Eloise were shocked by the gravity of the accusations. "Have you made a mistake? Do you have any idea who we are and who she is? I'll report you for these wild allegations!" Joseph roared.

"We're investigating according to standard procedure. Any interference will be considered obstruction of justice."

Joseph started to retort, but Eloise restrained him, shaking her head. "This isn't the time to be rash. We need to find out what happened and try to help Ari."

However, this only fueled Arianna's anger, leading her to suspect her mother's involvement. "Would she do such a thing? I'm just a daughter, after all! Nathaniel is her blood son. If Dad schemed for his bastard son, why wouldn't Mom?"

Arianna had believed her mother would support her in the fight for company control, but now suspected Eloise had prioritized her son. "They each have a son. What do they need me for?" she mused.

"Mom, you and Dad are the same. No wonder you two stayed married so long." She rose, a bitter chuckle escaping her lips as she looked at her mother. "Mom, enjoy your wonderful life with your son from now on."

Arianna then left with the officers.
