Lily knew Lisa was joking. Smiling, she said, "Come sit. What would you like to drink? Juice and coffee?"

Then, turning to Nick, Lily said, "Since you have allergies, please tell me what foods you can't eat so I can avoid them in our meals."

"Okay, thank you," Nick replied politely.

"I'm surprised you brought Nick," Lily remarked.

Lisa sighed. "I had no choice. His dad had something to do, so he asked me to babysit for the day." She and Nick got along well, especially after their last encounter at Westwood. She often checked in on him, and Mike sometimes asked her to watch him in exchange for access to his business resources.

Lily nodded. "Are you saying Mr. Corden is also in Sapphine City?"

"Uh-huh!" Lisa nodded, taking a sip of coffee. "Given his length of stay, he could easily make your wedding. Didn't you say you're pregnant? I don't see any difference!"

Lily rubbed her stomach, feeling the growing life within. "Naturally, there's no difference; the fetus is still under three months." While her appearance hadn't changed, she felt her body shifting. She experienced drowsiness and sadness, unusual for her pre-pregnancy self. However, she also had increased energy and strength. Even though she felt drowsy at times, she was energetic when awake—as if her baby was giving her strength. She could lift heavy objects easily, though Alexander would panic if he saw her and make her stop. He was meticulous about preventing her from carrying anything, even a small stool. Thankfully, he'd been busy lately; she'd tire of his constant worry.

"Lily, are you having a baby?" Nick asked curiously, blinking at her.

"Yes, in a couple of months. Do you prefer a boy or a girl?" Lily smiled.

"I like them both," he said shyly, gazing at Lily's tummy.

Lisa, noticing his eager expression, asked, "Do you want to feel the baby?"

"Can I really?" he asked excitedly.

"Of course! However, the baby is still tiny, so you might not feel anything," Lily explained.
