Chapter 16: Talent and Hardwork part 2

The morning sun bathed the shores of Crystal Lake in a golden hue as Oasis awoke, feeling rejuvenated after his meditation.

Stretching his limbs, he took a deep breath of the crisp morning air, the gentle rustle of leaves and the distant chirping of birds serving as a serene backdrop to the tranquil scene.

As Oasis emerged from his meditation spot, Sir Elias greeted him with a warm smile.

"Good morning, Oasis," he said, his voice carrying a note of cheerfulness. "I hope you slept well."

Oasis nodded, returning Sir Elias's smile. "Yes, I feel refreshed," he replied, his eyes bright with energy.

Sir Elias nodded in satisfaction, gesturing towards the campfire where breakfast awaited. "Well then, let's eat," he said, his tone inviting.

As Oasis settled down to enjoy his meal, Sir Elias launched into an explanation about the next steps of his training.

He spoke with a sense of purpose, his words laced with wisdom and guidance.

"Oasis, my boy," Sir Elias began, his voice carrying an air of authority.

"Before we delve into the specifics of your training, let me first explain the different realms of ranking among practitioners."

Oasis listened intently as Sir Elias outlined the ten realms of ranking, each one representing a different level of proficiency and power.

"The first realm," Sir Elias explained, "is the Zygote realm. Here, practitioners have a basic understanding of martial arts and magic."

"It consists of four layers, each building upon the last to lay the foundation for further growth."

Moving on to the second realm, Sir Elias elaborated.

"The Embryo realm marks a significant advancement. Practitioners here deepen their understanding, with five layers of development."

"They begin to refine their techniques and delve deeper into the intricacies of magic."

Continuing his explanation, Sir Elias described the Foetal realm.

"At the Foetal realm, practitioners reach a new level of mastery, with six layers of development."

"They hone their skills to a fine edge, becoming proficient in martial arts or magic."

Sir Elias's voice took on a note of pride as he spoke of the fourth realm, the Newborn realm.

"In the Newborn realm, practitioners are like freshly emerged warriors."

"They have a solid foundation in martial arts and are capable of fighting D-rank beasts."

"This realm consists of three layers, each representing a new level of strength and skill."

As he delved into the Tabula-rasa realm, Sir Elias explained, "Here, practitioners break down all they have learned into their simplest and strongest forms."

"They solve complex problems with ease, mastering the art of simplification. "

"The Tabula-rasa stage comprises three stages: beginner, intermediate, and advanced."

Moving forward, Sir Elias described the Awakened realm.

"In this stage, practitioners begin to understand the laws of nature and the elements on a deeper level."

"Their magic becomes purer, and they gain insight into the mysteries of mana. The Awakened realm is divided into three stages: basic, intermediate, and advanced."

The Enlightened realm, Sir Elias continued,

"represents a profound understanding of the world and its laws."

"Practitioners at this realm can comprehend flight and deeply grasp the intricacies of nature."

"Like the previous realms, it consists of three stages: basic, intermediate, and advanced."

As Sir Elias finished his explanation, Oasis sat in awe, the magnitude of the magical world unfolding before him.

He couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and determination stirring within him, eager to embark on his own journey of magical discovery.

Sir Elias looked at Oasis, his eyes filled with a mixture of pride and anticipation.

"Now, Oasis, let's begin your practical lessons. I'll teach you the basics of magic infusion."

Oasis nodded eagerly, ready to delve into the mysteries of magic.

Sir Elias extended his hands, and a gentle breeze began to swirl around him.

"Watch closely," he instructed, his voice steady.

"Magic is all about harnessing the mana within and around you. Feel the flow of the wind, become one with it."

As Sir Elias focused, a small sphere of water materialized in his hand.

"This is a basic water infusion," he explained.

"Now, it's your turn. Feel the water in the air, the moisture around you. Let it gather in your hand."

Oasis took a deep breath, closing his eyes to concentrate. He extended his hand tentatively, trying to connect with the elemental energy.

At first, nothing seemed to happen, but then, a small droplet formed in his palm.

Sir Elias smiled encouragingly.

"Good, Oasis. Now, let's move on to wind magic."

With a fluid motion, Sir Elias shifted his focus from water to wind.

A gentle gust swirled around him, lifting strands of his hair.

"Wind is elusive but powerful. Feel the currents, sense the subtle movements in the air."

Oasis followed Sir Elias's guidance, attempting to attune himself to the wind's energy.

After a moment of concentration, a soft breeze enveloped him, mirroring the wind around.

"Well done, Oasis," Sir Elias praised.

"Remember, magic is an extension of oneself. To control it, you must understand and connect with the elements."

"These are just the basics; mastery comes with time and practice."

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting hues of orange and pink across the Crystal Lake, Oasis felt a newfound connection to the magical energy that surrounded him.

The vastness of the magical world lay open before him, and he was ready to explore its depths.

As the weeks passed, Oasis's dedication to his training knew no bounds.

Each day, he honed his skills with unwavering determination, pushing himself to new heights.

Sir Elias watched with a mix of pride and astonishment as Oasis's progress surpassed all expectations.

"Remarkable, Oasis," Sir Elias praised, his voice tinged with admiration.

"You've made incredible strides in such a short amount of time."

Oasis smiled gratefully, the thrill of his newfound abilities coursing through him.

The Crystal Lake shimmered in the fading light of the setting sun, its tranquil surface reflecting the vibrant colors of the evening sky.

The air was filled with a sense of magic, tangible and alive, as Oasis stood at the water's edge, preparing to demonstrate his latest advancements.

With a focused gaze, Oasis extended his hand, summoning the elemental energies within him.

"Wind slash ," he intoned, his voice steady as he released the magic.

A powerful gust erupted from his palm, slicing through the air with precision.

Next, Oasis shifted his focus to water magic.

"Water needle ," he commanded, his voice echoing with authority.

A stream of water materialized into sharp, needle-like projectiles, soaring through the air with deadly accuracy.
