Chapter 165: Bring it On!

Andy seriously doubted his hearing. Seek advice? Guidance? He could understand if the person in question were an internationally renowned master, but why should he bother with a nobody? Was it her arrogant attitude and high self-regard? Or perhaps her brazen boasting?

"Mr. Adam," Andy demanded, "I want to meet this designer right now!"

Ericko responded calmly, "I'm sorry, but Nana is very busy. You can only meet her if you join my company."

Andy snorted disdainfully. "So, to meet your designer, I need to sign my life away to your company? Do you take me for a fool?"

Ericko continued, "We've heard you plan to collaborate with the Cameron Group. As their main competitor, we can't simply watch a talent like you join them. The recently established Luster Corporation, a subsidiary of the Camerons, will prioritize profits and stability, likely limiting your creative freedom. My company, however, with its longstanding foundation and substantial capital, can fully support your ambitious ideas. And, of course, we can afford your failures. Moreover, we have Nana, our ace designer, as a safety net."

Ericko's words piqued Andy's interest. He really wanted to see who this Nana was and what made her so special.

"Empty words mean nothing," Andy retorted. "How can I believe your designer is competent? I've heard about Adam Group's designs over the years—many impressive—but it seems they weren't Nana's work."

He was exhausted but maintained his composure. Ericko motioned for his secretary to hand Andy some design drafts from Maggie. "Nana has been in poor health," he said, "which is why she's our hidden gem. Here are her designs for you to review." Initially skeptical, Andy paused for a few seconds when he saw the drafts—unpublished, patent-pending works that Ericko had revealed to him.

"Are you not afraid I'll claim these designs as my own or plagiarize them?" Andy questioned.

Meeting Andy's gaze, Ericko smiled warmly. "I trust your integrity and appreciate your designs. I'm sure you won't do such things."
