Chapter 115
"Come on, fellas! Keep drinking!"
Monte, Kevin, and the others refilled Larry's group's wine glasses after they finished eating. They had already emptied one bottle, and nothing seemed amiss. Larry and Blade breathed a sigh of relief; they had mistakenly believed the Cedar Gang intended to poison them.

Monte's face fell. He'd engaged Larry and Blade in conversation while opening the new bottle to distract them, assuming their intoxication would mask the switch. Surprisingly, Severin immediately detected the problem.
Larry was shocked, thankful he'd brought Severin along. Otherwise, both he and Blade would be dead.

"Hmph!" Monte snorted, throwing his glass to the ground.
Instantly, a Cedar Gang member ran to the door and blew a whistle. "Charge!" A group of men surged forward, surrounding them.
