Listen to this chapter:

"You must be insane to think you can beat all those people, Severin. Don't get yourself killed!" Quinn, walking beside him, was shocked by his behavior. There was no doubt Severin was reckless; otherwise, he wouldn't have been imprisoned.

"Severin, you came too?! What a surprise!" A man in a suit approached, exclaiming with a smile.

Severin glanced indifferently at him. "Fat Pat? You're here too?"

"Isn't that obvious? We're all college classmates; we're attending Lucy's wedding!" Patrick Reece, known as Fat Pat, said sarcastically. "By the way, when we both pursued Lucy, she rejected me and chose you. I remember your smugness. Look at you now. You look like a hobo!"

Seeing Severin's silence, Patrick continued his taunts. "Guess good looks and grades don't get you far! Ha! It takes money! I'm an Easton Company manager, with a beautiful young wife. What do you have?"

Severin's face darkened. "Don't provoke me, Fat Pat. I wouldn't even look twice at someone like Lucy, even if offered to me—I even refused a war hero's granddaughter!"

"Pffft! Hahahahaha!" Patrick roared with laughter. "Hilarious! Did you learn only bragging in prison? A war hero's granddaughter wanted you? You're delusional after Lucy dumped you!"

"Forget it, Fat Pat. We were classmates. Severin even bought Lucy a house. He's clearly upset about the wedding; why provoke him?" Quinn interjected, defending Severin.

Ignoring Quinn, Patrick announced loudly, "Everyone, this strangely dressed man is Lucy's ex-fiancé, just released from prison! Can you believe he wanted to marry Lucy?"

A wave of discussion and pointing followed.

"That's him! I heard he smashed a beer bottle over Mr. Easton's head!"

"Why is he here? Trying to curry favor with the Loughs?"

Patrick grinned, satisfied at making Severin a laughingstock.

"Enjoy watching me be a fool?" Severin asked coldly.

"Absolutely!" Patrick shrugged. "Throw a tantrum? Hit me? Go ahead! Where's your old bravery?"

Severin then kicked Patrick across the room, smashing him into a table.

"Holy crap!"

"Did he just?"

Everyone was stunned.

"We're doomed!" Quinn worried. Severin was with her and Timothy; she didn't want Easton blaming them.

"Argh!" Patrick groaned, struggling to rise. "How dare you kick me? This is Easton's wedding! Are you causing trouble?"

"F*cking hell! Attack him!" Easton, seeing the incident, exploded in rage. He'd invited Severin to humiliate him, not expecting a fight.

A dozen thugs with steel pipes surrounded Severin.

"Hmph!" Severin snorted, kicking away the pipes. With a powerful stomp, he sent them flying.

"What's going on?!"

"Trash!" Easton gritted his teeth.

Trevor Lough, witnessing Severin's skill, stood up. "You b*stard! You ruined my son's wedding! Are you trying to die?"

"You went too far, Severin! My son-in-law invited you, and you ruined the wedding! I'm glad my daughter didn't wait for you!" Helga berated him.

Severin glared coldly. "Think I won't hit women? We have unfinished business!"

Helga recoiled, terrified. Easton's men were no match for Severin.

"I never approved of your friendship, but you were stubborn. See? Thank goodness she didn't wait for you!" Landon Orwell added.

Trevor called his head bodyguard. "You won't leave the Richemont Hotel today!"

"Oh really? I was only here for lunch. You forced me to attend your humiliation fest, so I'm returning the favor!"

Severin sat down, crossing his legs. "Since we're at it, let's settle scores! I gave your family forty thousand as a dowry. Return it."
