Chapter 176
Stacey couldn't find Jeremy's tablet brand online. Frustrated, she studied the logo again. Jeremy noticed her puzzled expression. He quickly scribbled a note and activated the tablet's reader: "My daddy made this. It's not for sale."
"Wow! Your dad's amazing!" Stacey exclaimed, impressed. The thought of Hayden building this, and Hayden's usually stern face, clashed in her mind. She realized she wasn't as dedicated a parent as Hayden. She mostly relied on Gwen and Marie for childcare, spending time with her kids only after work. Hayden, despite running a huge company, took Jeremy to work every day.
Touching Jeremy's cheek gently, she smiled. "You're so blessed, Jeremy. Your dad really loves you."
Jeremy looked at Stacey, then wrote on his tablet: [Do you like this writing tablet Daddy made?]
Stacey nodded. "Yes, it's awesome! Your dad is super amazing!"
Jeremy's eyes lit up. He wondered if Stacey was falling for his dad.
"Is Jeremy's daddy super amazing?" Lillian asked.
Jeremy remembered his father's advice: To get Stacey to marry his dad, he needed Lillian and Kevin's approval. He wrote on his tablet, then pressed read: "You bet my daddy's awesome! He's the best daddy in the world!"
Stacey was surprised, then smiled. Jeremy was right.
"Wow!" Lillian's eyes shone. "I want him as my daddy too!"
"Me too!" Kevin echoed, his voice brimming with enthusiasm.
Jeremy was overjoyed. Stacey was stunned. Patrick, watching from the side, smiled. He agreed Hayden was a great dad, and a match with Stacey would be wonderful.
The car arrived at the company. Staff peeked at the children accompanying their boss and Stacey. Jeremy instantly adopted a serious, mini-boss demeanor, mirroring Hayden.
Lillian and Kevin explored the office with wide eyes. They were adorable. After settling into Stacey’s office lounge with Gwen and Marie, Lillian and Kevin’s restlessness led Jeremy to introduce them to his writing tablet. Though too young to write, they were captivated by the "new toy."
Patrick, also fond of children, watched them. He immediately ordered two more tablets for Lillian and Kevin. Within minutes, all three children were happily playing with their new tablets.
