"Rebecca," Theodore said, his voice tight, "I'm not Lily and Kev's biological father, but I will be a good dad. I promise."

Debra rolled her eyes. This was old news, a rehash of Queenie's pathetic pronouncements. She turned to Theodore. "Theodore, are you single? Because someone might be perfect for you."

The room – Patrick, Adrian, Bryce, Charlie, Isabella, Carly – went silent. Theodore stared, bewildered.

Debra continued, a serious glint in her eye, "You remind me of Queenie. Seriously, you two are a match made in… well, you get the idea. If you're single, pursue her."

Theodore was speechless. Charlie erupted in laughter, admiration flashing at his mother. No one roasts like Mom, he thought, a flicker of sympathy for Theodore quickly following.

Patrick cut through the stunned silence. "Theodore, let's be clear. We weren't harsh before, fearing Becky still had feelings for you. But you've destroyed any chance of that. We have proof of your actions. Stay away from Becky, or face the consequences. Bryce, show him out."

Theodore's face darkened. "I just want to care for Lily and Kevin! They're my children!"

Patrick chuckled. "If you care, stay away. Hayden's a great dad, and they see him as their father. Your interference will only hurt them."

The Carter family wouldn't tolerate his meddling. They'd protect Becky and Hayden, just as the Hoggard family protected Hayden from Queenie. Theodore was ejected.

Meanwhile, Stacey, in the bridal chamber, nervously awaited Hayden. A cautious creak. She adjusted her veil.

"Jeremy! I told you, you can't come in!" Hayden's voice, exasperated.

Stacey smiled. Jeremy was trying to sneak in!

"Why not? You're lying! You want to sleep with Mommy!" Jeremy protested.

"She's my wife. Of course, I will," Hayden gritted.

"No! Mommy's mine!" Jeremy wailed. Another struggle at the door. "Jeremy, tonight's Becky and my wedding night. You can't come in!"
