Rebecca spent the entire morning filming at the Aotori shooting base and finally rested at noon. Debra immediately prepared a chair and some water for her daughter. After sitting and taking a sip, Rebecca felt less tired.
Debra cheerfully sat beside her. "Becky, something's happened to the Edwards family," she said, unlocking her phone and showing Rebecca the trending news. "Look, Theodore's father is really something. He's been keeping three mistresses and fathered two sons and a daughter in secret for over twenty years, and now all of them have infiltrated the Edwards Group. The eldest is even a vice president, just below Theodore."
Rebecca was surprised. Was Theodore's father's private life really that messy? She recalled that when she stayed at the Edwards Villa, Theodore's father rarely stayed home, claiming to be busy with work, only returning on weekends.
"Who dug up this news?" she asked, immediately realizing the answer. She looked at her mother.
Debra smiled. "This has nothing to do with us. We never forced Michael to keep those mistresses." It was the Carters who leaked the news, but Michael's infidelity was his own doing. Rebecca blinked and smiled, "Mm-hmm."
Debra had already ordered lunch. Considering Rebecca's breastfeeding, filming, and exhaustion, she wanted her daughter to eat properly. They ate together, and Rebecca reviewed the trending news several times before putting down her phone.
Returning to the resting room, they prepared for a nap, lying side by side. Debra smiled. "Once this blows up, the Edwards family will be in chaos. We can use this to push Theodore to ask you for a divorce."
Rebecca was surprised. "How?"
Debra pulled the blanket over them. "You don't need to do anything. Focus on what you love. Let your dad and brothers handle the rest."
Rebecca was confused. "What are they going to do?"
Debra smiled knowingly. "I have no idea. Your dad and Adrian told me to tell you to focus on your work and wait. They'll take care of everything." Rebecca nodded, "Okay!"
"Alright, enough of that. It's late. Get some rest. You have to shoot more scenes this afternoon," Debra said with concern.
"Okay," Rebecca responded gently, closing her eyes under her mother's gaze. She felt wonderful with her mother nearby and her family's support.
The noon break was short, but Rebecca's biological clock woke her on time. She carefully got up, not to disturb her sleeping mother. The makeup artist was also rested, and they went to the dressing room together. The afternoon shoot resumed.
Over the next four months, Rebecca enjoyed filming and spending time with her babies. Theodore didn't contact her; he was too busy. The Edwards family was thrown into chaos by the revelation of the illegitimate children. The children, who had secretly infiltrated the Edwards Group, were exposed.
