Chapter 5

Ten minutes later, Claire and her bodyguards arrived at the Hilton Hotel. They quickly entered Room 302, kicking the door open with a bang. Claire, camera in hand, rushed in aggressively, followed by her bodyguards. Brandon and Tiffany, who were in bed, scrambled to put on their clothes.

"Go on, just ignore me," Claire said, sitting on the sofa and filming them. She appeared to be livestreaming.

Brandon panicked. "Claire, II was drunk at a friend's birthday party. Thisthis woman seduced me!" He immediately pointed at Tiffany.

Claire smiled coldly. "Is that so? What about this message?" She displayed her phone screen to Brandon. The message, sent from Brandon's phone, read: "Claire, please don't call Brandon again. He's not interested in you. We're now in Room 302 of the Hilton Hotel. We'll have a great night tonight. I, Tiffany, wish you a good night too!"

Brandon nearly strangled Tiffany. He hadn't expected her to send such a message. No wonder Claire had arrived with bodyguards. He cursed silently, "What a silly woman!" Then, he slapped Tiffany hard across the face. She screamed.

Chapter 5 (continued)

Her eyes widened in disbelief. Brandon shouted, "You bitch! You seduced me while I was drunk and even sent a message to my girlfriend! What the hell do you want?"

Tiffany couldn't believe the sudden change in him. "Brandon, whatwhat's wrong with you? Didn't you say you only loved me? Besides, I didn't send any messages!" (She was innocent; Gilmore had sent the message.) But Brandon and Claire wouldn't believe her. He slapped her again.

"You bitch! Who would love you? If you talk nonsense again, I'll rip your tongue out!" he warned, exasperated. Tiffany's face was swollen and bleeding. Frightened by his hostility, she remembered hurting Gilmore to please Brandon—now, she suffered the same. She was heartbroken, realizing Brandon's cruelty was a performance for Claire. Claire was more than just his girlfriend; the Wilsons needed the Carters' business help, and they couldn't afford to offend her. If Claire weren't so domineering, Brandon wouldn't have pursued Tiffany. He was incredibly unlucky to be caught.

Chapter 3 (appears out of sequence – should be placed earlier)

Brandon was anxious to distance himself from Tiffany. After watching his performance, Claire applauded. "Very good! So I misunderstood you, Brandon."

Brandon stepped forward, blaming himself. "Claire, I shouldn't have drunk so much, so this woman…" Before he finished, Claire slapped him hard across the left cheek. Stunned, he finally spoke, "Claire, why did you…" She slapped him again, this time on the right cheek.

"Do you think you can fool me? You cheated on me. You're out. From now on, I'm no longer your girlfriend, and the Carters will cooperate with the Wilsons no more."

Terrified, Brandon knelt, pleading, "Claire, don't do that! It's all my fault. Please give me another chance!" He slapped himself repeatedly, but Claire remained unmoved. "Let's go!" she told her bodyguards. They left.

Brandon collapsed, murmuring, "I'm screwed!" He quickly recovered and chased after Claire. The room fell silent, leaving Tiffany alone, sobbing and covering her swollen cheeks.

"I pretended to be pure for so long and finally attracted attention. I thought I had finally found a rich boyfriend. How did things come to this? Can I only be with a poor guy like Gilmore?"

Chapter 5 (continued from previous Chapter 5 section)

Gilmore understood Tiffany's pretense—to attract rich men like Brandon. She was scheming, but now, abandoned, she had gotten what she deserved. Brandon, too, was dumped, and the Carters would sever ties with the Wilsons, causing great losses. Gilmore felt he had avenged himself.

He stopped watching the Hilton Hotel scene and returned to his hotel room. It felt like a dream, but it wasn't. He had supernatural powers from the mysterious man's elixir. Suddenly, his eyelids twitched. He saw something serious—Brandon's plans to murder for money. His expression turned solemn. "I can't just sit by and do nothing…"

The extraneous text ("Sᴇaʀch Thᴇ Findnøvel.ɴet…", numbers, percentages, and date/time stamps) have been removed as they are irrelevant to the narrative. The chapters were also reordered to make logical sense. The story is still somewhat jarring in its transitions, suggesting there may be more context missing.
