Chapter 41 (+15 Bonus Chapter)

Jack, wrapped in bandages, lay in the Zimmer family hall. All core Zimmer family members were present. Klein Zimmer, seated at the head of the table, wore a stormy expression.

"What happened?" he demanded coldly, his gaze sweeping across the assembled family.

Silence. No one dared speak.

"Hmph!" Klein slammed his hand on the side table, shattering it. The Zimmer family members recoiled in terror.

Klein fixed a cold glare on Felix Zimmer. "Jack is your son. Are you going to tell me you don't know what happened?"

Felix trembled. "This is all Simone Langley's fault!" he hissed. "We were conducting business; profit is paramount. The Langley Group offered a lower price than the Wyatt family. There was nothing wrong with cooperating with them! But Simone resented it and brought someone to meet Jack. That's how he was injured!"

Klein exploded. "Simone Langley, you arrogant brat! Do whatever it takes to bring her here. We'll see how good she thinks she is!" he ordered. "She hurt my grandson, and she will pay, no matter who she is!"

"Understood," the other family members chorused.

Suddenly, a cold voice cut through the air. "The audacity."

"Hmm?" Klein's eyebrows rose, his face darkening. "Who's there? Show yourself!"

Two young men entered. Klein stared coldly. "Who are you? How dare you enter without permission?!"

"Dustin Fox," one said.

"Drake," the other added.

The Zimmer family members stirred. "Dad, that's Dustin Fox! He's the one who hurt Jack!" Felix shouted.

A murderous glare filled Klein's eyes. This man had hurt his grandson and dared to intrude? Did he have a death wish?

"Ha! Such arrogance!" Klein sneered, gesturing for the family to remain still. He wanted to see what tricks they had up their sleeves. "You hurt my grandson and still dare to come here?" He glared at Dustin.

"Why wouldn't I?" Dustin retorted coldly. "Jack had ill intentions toward Simone. I was being merciful by not killing him."

"What did you say, you bastard?!" The Zimmer family members raged, their fury directed at Dustin and Drake. Klein's eyes narrowed. He had never encountered such arrogance.

"Dustin Fox, is it? I'll remember that name. Why are you here?" Klein asked icily.

"I'm here to warn you: stop acting as puppets, stop being so blind. Choose the wrong path, and you will be destroyed," Dustin said indifferently.

Klein's face darkened. "I see. Thank you for the warning." He nodded, then added coldly, "No, you die!" He wouldn't let go of someone who harmed his grandson.
