"When the Carson family fell on hard times, Thomas joined Hell Hall. With their support, we regained our power and joined the ranks of the most influential families!"
"To repay the King of Hades, Thomas became one of his Secret Guards. That's a great honor for the Carson family!"
George's words shocked Michael. He was overwhelmed.
"He's… the King of Hades… the leader of Hell Hall?" Michael stared at Dustin in disbelief.
"Obviously," George said, wanting to slap Michael again.
Michael felt his strength drain, his face paling. The King of Hades? The ruler of the underworld! The most powerful man in the world! He couldn't believe the Wyatt family had cast out the leader of Hell Hall and head of the Carson family.
Michael trembled violently, his mouth quivering. His arrogance vanished.
'Oh no… oh no…’ he thought, trembling.
"After sending those two messages, I flew here from Central Harbor immediately. One second later, and our family would have been destroyed because of you!" George shouted. "Has love made you stupid?! How could you lose your reason because of Clara Wyatt?! You even offended the King of Hades! I should kill you right now!"
Michael didn't dare retort; he was panicking. He didn't dare look at Dustin, feeling immense pressure.
"My Liege, please spare the Carson family!" Thomas begged Dustin. He had no children, and Michael was the heir. Even though a massive disappointment, they had to protect him. George also pleaded for Michael's life.
"Uncle Thomas… Dad…" Seeing this, Michael felt overwhelming regret. His family was nearly ruined because of him.
"King of Hades, I'm very sorry. Please punish me as you see fit, but spare the Carson family!" Michael begged. Dustin glanced at George and Thomas.
"Very well… break one of his arms," he said coolly.

"Thank you, My Liege!" Both men thanked Dustin. Even though Michael had offended him, a broken arm was a merciful price. At least, they'd saved his life.
Ring… Ring…
A phone rang, disrupting the silence. Michael, startled, pulled out his phone. It was Clara. He glanced at Dustin before answering, his face sour.
"How was it, Mr. Carson? Did Dustin beg for mercy?" Clara's teasing voice came through the phone. "With your capabilities, I'm sure you easily took Dustin down. Tell me all the exciting details later." Clearly, Clara wanted to befriend Michael—he was the heir to a powerful family, and she liked him. She planned to manipulate him.
But Michael's ordeal had cleared his mind. His face darkened.
“Don't call me again, you bitch!” he snapped, hanging up and blocking her number.
In the Wyatt family villa, Clara stared at her phone in disbelief. She couldn't understand what had happened. Had Michael woken up on the wrong side of the bed? How dare he yell at her? He was a loser!
With a cold face, she called him back, but the call failed. She took a deep breath, her face darkening.
Smash!
She threw her phone to the floor, shattering it.
