Chapter 73
Clara sat in a pavilion in the Wyatt family garden, feeding the fish and watching their indifferent struggle for food. "Did you look into it?" she asked Shadow Two, who stood beside her.
"I couldn't find anything," he replied. "Even the best information organization in Lovellia, which I paid handsomely, came up empty. They said the person's information is classified SSS grade by the Divine Hall. Even their best programmer couldn't hack into it."
Clara froze. "The Divine Hall's SSS grade?" Her face hardened.
Shadow Two explained, "The Divine Hall isn't just a title; it's Lovellia's repository for classified information on the most important people. Everyone within it is incredibly mysterious, holding high status and immense influence. They essentially control world order. Their information is only accessible to Lovellia's rulers. No one has ever successfully hacked the Divine Hall. Not even the world's best information organization could do it." Clara frowned.
The person the Wyatt family had offended was shielded by the Divine Hall. She had suspected the Medical Sage, but wasn't certain, prompting her inquiry to Shadow Two. Even confirming the Medical Sage's involvement would require knowing his appearance.
"Is the Medical Sage's information in the Divine Hall?" she asked.
"He's the world's only miracle-grade physician. Given his mysterious identity, it's unsurprising his information is there," he replied.
"It's a pity we can't identify him," Clara said, her face darkening. "The Wyatt family is in a precarious, dangerous situation. Even our own dog is turning on us. What did Mother say?"
"To wait," Shadow Two answered. "She said the Wyatt family will soon regain its peak power."
Clara nodded, her gaze hardening. She and her sisters were growing impatient; they wanted to remove this obstacle quickly. "How's the Hidden Fiend?" she asked.
"He's dead," Shadow Two replied.
Clara raised an eyebrow. Amara had redirected the Hidden Fiend's attack on the Wyatt family toward Dustin. Clara hadn't expected the Hidden Fiend to succeed; she knew he couldn't defeat Dustin.
"When the Hidden Fiend fought me, we were both injured," Shadow Two said coldly. "Dustin is strong, and the Hidden Fiend was arrogant. His death is unsurprising."
Clara chuckled. "But the Seven Fiends are notorious for revenge. The Hidden Fiend was the weakest; his death is inconsequential. The others will still seek revenge. Dustin will face them!" She reveled in Dustin's impending doom. "Tell everyone the Hidden Fiend is dead, and let's watch them fight."
At the Seven Fiends' headquarters, the remaining six members seethed. As Clara predicted, they considered themselves brothers and avenged any provocation.
"Who killed the Hidden Fiend?" their leader demanded coldly.
"A nobody named Dustin Fox in Rivenesco. He's Lucas Wyatt's adopted son, recently disowned by the Wyatt sisters," someone reported.
The leader's face froze. "Lucas's adopted son? If he could kill the Hidden Fiend, he shouldn't be underestimated. This also suggests he likely possesses the treasure Lucas left behind."
