Chapter 80: "Stop!"

Dylan called out to Dustin as he was leaving the clinic.

"What? Unwilling to admit defeat?" Dustin asked, turning around.

"Of course not!" Dylan exclaimed. "You were just neutralizing poison! You can't test skill that way. Besides, I suspect you already had the antidote. How else could you neutralize poison with just warm water? It's illogical! That poison couldn't be cured with warm water! You must have secretly administered an antidote!"

Many agreed with Dylan. After all, neutralizing poison with warm water was far-fetched. Delia also gave Dylan warm water; why wasn't he cured? It didn't make sense.

"Dustin, you tricked us!" Delia cried. "If you have the guts, compete against Dr. Parker again! I refuse to believe you know anything about medicine! Prove it!"

"Who the hell do you think you are? Why should I prove myself to you?" Dustin asked coldly. Delia's face darkened.

"But since you're all questioning my skills, I suppose we can have another round."

When Dustin agreed, Dr. Parker immediately summoned assistance. He took the antidote and consumed it; his condition rapidly improved.

"If you lose, you must apologize to me and declare three times that the Medical Sage is undeserving of his reputation, a mere fame-seeker!" Dylan said darkly. "What if you lose?" Dustin countered.

"If I lose? Ha! I won't lose this time!" Dylan declared confidently.

"If you lose, you leave Rivenesco and never again disparage the Medical Sage. How does that sound?" Dustin asked.

"Very well," Dylan nodded.

"Dustin, you ignorant fool!" Delia mocked. "I'll make a bet too. If you lose to Dylan, you kneel outside the Wyatt family's villa for three days and three nights. What do you say?" Dustin narrowed his eyes at her.

"And if I lose I'll apologize to you on my knees!"

"Make sure you remember that," Dustin said. He'd accepted Delia's apology before, but as the Medical Sage. This time, he wanted an apology from Delia to Dustin Fox.

Chapter 60

"How will we compete this time, Dr. Parker?" Dustin asked Dylan.

Dylan looked around, his gaze settling on the dazed Bella. "We'll use her as our subject. She's lost her mind and needs extensive recovery. Let's demonstrate our skills. Whoever helps her recover fastest wins!"

Dustin frowned. He knew why Bella had lost her mind; curing her would be trivial. The question was whether he wanted to. It's time she faced reality, he thought, agreeing to the challenge.

"Since you're younger, you go first," Dylan offered.

Dustin shook his head. "Do as you please. If you restore her sanity, I'll admit defeat."

Dylan was puzzled by Dustin's confidence. "Aren't you worried about losing?"

"I'm certain you can't treat her," Dustin chuckled.

Dylan's face darkened. "You're being arrogant. Don't regret it later!"

He approached Bella. After examining her, he smiled and instructed his assistant to fetch a box of pills. "These pills will stimulate her brain and quickly restore her sanity," Dylan said, smiling.
