Chapter 12
Dustin led Simone to the fifth floor of Moon Pavilion. Delia had summoned all Lovellia's physicians to Rivenesco, so he couldn't stand idly by.
Upon reaching the fifth floor, they found two rooms with open doors, filled mostly with elderly physicians. These were Lovellia's top physicians, holding high positions within their community. Dustin led Simone into a room opposite, leaving the door ajar to observe the physicians. Some excitedly discussed meeting the Medical Sage, the highest-ranked and legendary physician in the field, revered even by top physicians.
"If Miss Delia is the Medical Sage's student, she's incredibly talented. I envy her. With the Sage's support, the Wyatt family will never fall," Simone remarked, speaking for Dustin's benefit. She didn't want him to seek revenge against the powerful Wyatt family and risk harm.
"Never fall, huh?" Dustin chuckled. Even without his intervention, the Wyatt family's downfall was inevitable. He'd protected them for years, leading to their inflated egos and arrogance. They believed themselves superior to everyone. The Wyatt family possessed a coveted treasure, and Dustin had fought and bled to protect it. While he'd temporarily stabilized them after destroying the Four Great Organizations, trouble was bound to resurface. How long could they truly hold out?
Soon, Amara and Delia arrived. They saw Dustin and Simone. "They're really here!" Amara's gaze was icy. Delia glared at them, offering no courtesy since Dustin had come to cause trouble. After greeting the physicians, Amara and Delia approached Dustin's room.
"Dustin, I don't care how you obtained a black gold card or gained access to the fifth floor. This is an important occasion. Create trouble, and I won't forgive you!" Amara said sternly.
"These physicians are influential and have terrible tempers. Anger them, and you'll suffer," Amara continued, feigning concern while actually wanting to avoid trouble. "Dustin, take your lover and leave!" Delia snapped, losing her temper.
Dustin's gaze turned cold. "You have no right to tell me to leave," he said icily. "This isn't the Wyatt family villa, and I won't tolerate your insults. I'm not here at your beck and call."
"Just tell me to leave one more time. I dare you," he challenged, glaring murderously at Delia.
Delia felt breathless, her face changing. She couldn't believe it. When had this "parasite" become so terrifying? His gaze threatened to kill her. Amara's face darkened. She acknowledged this Dustin was vastly different from before.
Delia gritted her teeth. "Dustin, don't forget who you were in the Wyatt family. You were just—"
"Get out!" Dustin roared. Delia's ears rang as she staggered back in shock and fury. The man she'd always belittled had become a terrifying force.
"Miss Delia!" Someone from the adjacent room rushed over, steadying her. It was a young, handsome man, Dr. Alvin Williams, an intermediate physician like Delia, attending with his teacher. Alvin hailed from a wealthy and powerful Lovellian family, surpassing the Wyatts in influence; hence Amara and Delia's politeness and inclusion of him.
"You bastard! How dare you disrespect Miss Delia?!" Alvin yelled, pointing at Dustin. He'd long admired Delia's beauty and status as the Medical Sage's student, seizing this opportunity to impress her.
"I hate men who strike women. They're worthless! How dare you attack Miss Delia?! With me here, you can't!" Alvin shouted indignantly. "Miss Amara, Miss Delia, stand back. I'll teach this trash a lesson!" he boasted, gesturing for them to retreat. "Sorry for the trouble, Dr. Williams," Amara said slyly.
"Dr. Williams, you're amazing! You're a 10th-dan karateka! Teach this scum a lesson!" Delia urged, knowing of Alvin's martial arts skills. He would surely handle Dustin.
"Just watch!" Alvin rolled up his sleeves, walking arrogantly toward Dustin.
"Simone, stand back. I don't want blood on you," Dustin said coldly.
"Such bold words!" Alvin enraged, lunged, aiming a punch at Dustin's nose. With a cold glare, Dustin grabbed Alvin's fist, yanked him off balance, twisted his wrist— snap—breaking it. A swift kick sent Alvin crashing to the floor— thud—coughing up blood. His face paled.
Everyone was stunned. Delia's jaw dropped. Alvin, a 10th-dan karateka, was helpless against Dustin. He'd been easily subdued.
Amara and Delia were astonished. Was this the same freeloader who'd lived with them for over ten years? When had he become so powerful? They realized they no longer knew him. Only Simone remained unsurprised.
Dustin remained as cool and composed as when he'd saved her—quick, decisive, and strong.
Amara and Delia took time to recover.
"How dare you, Dustin?! Do you know who he is?!" Delia shrieked. "He's the Williams heir, the most powerful family in Honora! He's a physician by choice! How could you hurt him so badly?! Do you want to die?!" She cackled inwardly, anticipating Dustin's suffering for offending the Williams family.
Amara glared coldly, conveying, "You brought this on yourself." They'd planned this, urging Alvin on. If he won, Dustin would be taught a lesson; if he lost, Dustin would offend the Williams family and face dire consequences.
"Is the Williams family truly that incredible?" Dustin asked nonchalantly.
