Chapter 137

Dustin remained silent about the numerous Panther Gang corpses littering the floor. No one dared to remove them. Devon's headless body lay amidst the carnage.

Blake's eyes widened in fury upon recognizing the corpse. His desire for revenge was unconcealed as he glared at Dustin.

"Who are you? Where did you come from? Are you law enforcement, or something else?" Blake didn't attack immediately; instead, he demanded answers. A report from one of his branch leaders had revealed Dustin's formidable nature, prompting this initial interrogation.

Dustin's gaze froze the gang leader. "Back in the day, the Aquila family's rise began after participating in the campaign to destroy the Fox family of Grayvale. Did the Panther Gang participate in that campaign?" Admission would be fatal for Blake.

Blake frowned. "The destruction of the Fox family? Why would the Panther Gang fight the Verdant Gang for so many years if we'd been involved in that?"

Dustin's murderous intent subsided upon hearing the answer. "From now on, the entire Panther Gang answers to me. You will do as I say," Dustin stated lazily.

Blake scoffed. "You killed my nephew, and now you expect my gang to obey you? Are you kidding me?" He couldn't help but resist.

Dustin raised an eyebrow. "You refuse? Then I'll destroy the Panther Gang and replace you with someone else in Rivenesco." His casual threat stunned everyone.

"Haha! Destroy the Panther Gang?" Blake's anger morphed into amusement. "Do you know the Panther Gang's power? How many members we have?" After the Verdant Gang's fall, the Panther Gang had absorbed their territory, becoming even stronger. Who would dare challenge them?

"Destroying the Verdant Gang wasn't difficult either. The Panther Gang will be the same," Dustin said coolly.

Blake's heart leaped. "Whatdid you say? Youdestroyed the Verdant Gang?" His face paled.

Chapter 137 (Continued)

The Verdant Gang's destruction remained a mystery. A powerful organization, they vanished overnight; their leaders and members disappeared without a trace. Honora's underworld buzzed with speculation, but the truth remained elusive.

Blake, after seizing the Verdant Gang's territory, had investigated, but encountered a wall of secrecy. Even his gang's influence yielded little. He found no leads. Dustin's admission sent a jolt through him.

"Who are you, really?" Blake asked solemnly, struggling to remain calm.

Dustin ignored him, turning to a Hell Guard. "How many men do you need to wipe the Panther Gang from Rivenesco?"

"To kill them all? A handful of us suffice, King of Hades," the Hell Guard replied respectfully.

"The King of Hades!" Blake's shock was palpable.

He finally understood the Verdant Gang's swift and silent demise. The King of Hades's army was unstoppable; a small gang like the Verdant Gang stood no chance. Hell Hall's secrecy explained his lack of progress in the investigation.

He never imagined Devon had provoked the King of Hades! Terror paralyzed him, silencing his plans.

Blake dropped to his knees with a thump.
