Chapter 192

The leader of the Panther Gang was a man of fearsome standing and influence. Yet, he had arrived at Dustin's single phone call. The implications were terrifying.

"Mr. Fox," Blake asked, bowing respectfully, "what are your orders?"

The scene left the three others frozen in shock. Their hearts pounded. Who was this man? What kind of person commanded such respect from the Panther Gang's leader? Even a fool could see Dustin was someone to be feared.

Aaron and Phoebe, Phoebe especially, nearly fainted from terror. She couldn't comprehend how Irene had found herself dating him. First, he'd shown world-class dance skills; then, he'd casually produced a verdigris emerald the size of a goose egg. Then, with a single phone call, he'd summoned the Panther Gang's leader. Did such a person even exist in Lannopolis?

"Blake," Dustin said, pointing at Pete, "do you know the Crimson Gang? This man?"

Blake narrowed his eyes at Pete, hostility radiating from him. Already irritated by being summoned during a tense moment, his frustration simmered.

"The Crimson Gang?" he said coldly. "I've heard of them. A decently sized group in Lannopolis, not known for playing by the rules. As for this guy? Never seen him before."

Pete stammered nervously, "Mr. Torell, I'm one of the Crimson Gang's heads"

"Oh, really?" Blake laughed. "You Crimson Gang members must have some nerve crossing Mr. Fox."

Regret filled Pete's bitter face. How could he have known this seemingly ordinary man held such influence?

"Mr. Torell, we were following orders! We were paid! If we'd known who Mr. Fox was, we never would have come!" he pleaded.

Blake didn't respond. He turned to Dustin. "Mr. Fox, how would you like me to handle this?"

The Crimson Gang's fate rested in Dustin's hands.

Dustin's tone remained indifferent. "Since the Crimson Gang doesn't follow the rules, there's no need for it to exist anymore."

"Understood," Blake bowed slightly. "Within three days, the Crimson Gang will disappear from Lannopolis."

Pete's face went white. That statement sealed the gang's fate. If the Panther Gang acted, the Crimson Gang wouldn't last two days.

Pete opened his mouth to plead, but Blake's glance sent two men forward. They grabbed Pete and dragged him out. Muffled struggles and chaos followed, then quickly faded. The Crimson Gang's underlings were dealt with swiftly.

Aaron and Phoebe were paralyzed with fear, knowing they would be next.

"Irene, we're classmates! Please, help us! Beg him for mercy! We don't deserve to die!" Phoebe pleaded desperately, clinging to hope. She knew pleading with Dustin was pointless.

Irene hesitated, then remained silent, glancing at Dustin. She understood showing mercy wouldn't earn gratitude, only invite trouble.

"These two," Dustin said, waving casually at Blake, "make sure they don't appear here again."

"Understood," Blake nodded, gesturing to his men. They were dragged away without a chance to plead.

"Their families have some influence" Irene murmured hesitantly.

"So?" Dustin smiled indifferently.
