Listen to this chapter:

"Listen up! Beat him up!" Elisa commanded. She knew Dustin was a formidable fighter, and these guards stood no chance. But that was precisely her intention. She wanted to force Dustin's hand; a murder here carried dire consequences. Breaking the organization's rules meant certain death for the perpetrator.

The guards, emboldened by Elisa's words, turned brutal. They grabbed weapons and lunged at Dustin. Jaxon might have ordered his expulsion, but they intended to maim him first.

Dustin remained motionless, his expression steely. These were mere ants; he didn't need to lift a finger.

Whoosh!

Dustin's Hell Guard, previously concealed, appeared. With a single, swift pass, the guards crumpled to the floor, incapacitated. Jaxon's face darkened. If Dustin hadn't initiated the attack, his crime would have been significantly lessened.

Elisa glared at the Hell Guard, seething with a mixture of fury, hatred, and envy. That's my dad's creation! she thought angrily. Without such powerful protection, Dustin would be dead already.

"Dustin, you rude bastard!" Jaxon roared, rushing to his guards. "If any of them dies, you're dead!"

He knelt, checking their condition, only to find them all still breathing. He glanced at Elisa, her eyes gleaming with cruelty. Her look sent a chill down his spine. His gaze hardening, Jaxon turned back to his guards, then squeezed the neck of one until his eyes bulged and life fled.

"Dustin, you killed someone in the black market!" Jaxon shrieked.

Elisa rushed forward, feigning terror. "You killed someone!" she cried, her voice laced with panic. "Don't you know the rules? How could you kill someone here?! You've broken the rules!"

Her shrill cries drew a crowd, quickly swelling until the pharmacy was overflowing.

"Get Captain Wilson!" Jaxon barked, ordering the summoning of the black market's chief enforcer. "Just you wait, Dustin! No one can save you this time!" A smug smirk played on his lips. Dustin had walked right into his trap; he hadn't even needed to hire an assassin. No one dared defy the black market's rules.

"Sure. I'll wait right here," Dustin replied calmly.

Elisa and Jaxon exchanged a mocking glance. "You ignorant idiot!" they thought in unison.

Soon, the sound of approaching law enforcement cut through the air. The crowd parted, creating a path for the imposing figures. They were symbols of authority, their presence commanding respect and fear.

Leading them was the imposing figure of Lan Wilson, the captain of the black market's law enforcement.

"What happened here?" Lan asked grimly.

"You finally arrived!" Jaxon exclaimed, extending his hand and slipping a bank card into Lan's palm. "Two million dollars," he whispered.

Lan's expression remained unchanged. With a flick of his wrist, the card disappeared. Jaxon grinned; if he could bribe Lan, things would be much simpler.

"Captain Wilson, this man forced his way into my pharmacy despite my warnings. My guards tried to remove him, but he attacked them, injuring everyone and killing one!" Jaxon hissed, feigning outrage.
