Listen to this chapter:

"Who sent you to kill me?" Dustin asked, staring icily at Frost.

"The assassin's code forbids revealing clients' identities. Those who break it are killed," Frost retorted grimly. "Very well, then," Dustin nodded. "I never like to force people, but..."

He glanced back with a fierce gaze. "Myst?" he called.

"Right here!" a sonorous, vibrant voice answered from behind. A figure materialized like a shadow, clad in black tights that revealed a stunning physique and beautiful face.

"Kill them all," Dustin commanded.

Myst moved with balletic grace, her face as cold and deadly as the Ripper upon landing. Her speed was such that only Frost reacted. Two assassins fell instantly, their lives extinguished by her elegant, merciless use of twin short knives.

Frost's team, elite assassins themselves, were stunned. This woman had dispatched them with terrifying ease. Before their shock subsided, Myst advanced. The sniper, his face contorted in ruthlessness, fired his rifle.

Whoosh!

Myst vanished, reappearing before the sniper in a blur. With a swift movement, the rifle was severed, and the sniper collapsed in a spreading pool of blood.

Only Frost and one other remained. Frost's face soured. He'd been impressed by Dustin's ninth-grade fighter, but this... this was beyond comprehension. Twenty million credits? Not enough. Not even two hundred million!

As Myst moved to strike the last assassin, Frost intervened, their fists colliding with a bam! He recoiled, his face paling as shock rippled through him. The disparity in strength was overwhelming.

"Myst..." he mumbled, his eyes widening. "You're Myst, one of the five Dragon Guards serving Hell Hall's King of Hades!"

Recognition dawned, leaving him reeling. This woman matched every description. If she was a Dragon Guard, then Dustin was...

Frost's face burned with rage. Twenty million?! Jaxon had attempted to assassinate the King of Hades for a paltry twenty million credits?! He wouldn't have taken the job for two billion, knowing the target's true identity. This was the leader of Hell Hall, the monster who had single-handedly slain the Shadow Emperor, the former ruler of the underworld! Hell Hall's influence over the criminal underworld was absolute. No one dared challenge the King of Hades.

While Frost trembled in fear, Myst swiftly ended the remaining assassin's life.

"Spare me!" Frost cried, falling to his knees. "I didn't know! I only acted on Jaxon Chandler's request! He said you were a skilled martial artist, nothing more! We didn't know you were the King of Hades!"
