Unfortunately, he had yet to find the final ingredient for the antidote. Dustin had dispatched all of Hell Hall to search, but it proved too rare and elusive. Irene, seemingly aware of her poisoning, feigned unconcern, comforting Dustin instead, which only heightened his guilt.
Suddenly, someone dropped down. "Myst? Why are you here?" Dustin's face fell. Among Hell Hall's members, Myst was the most rebellious. She glared at Irene with burning resentment. Dustin instantly pulled Irene behind him, his expression darkening. "Myst, don't be rude!" he snapped. Given Myst's temperament, she was capable of anything, requiring Dustin to impose strict rules.
Myst curbed herself, but her resentment intensified. "You've got yourself a woman behind our backs, My Liege? She's lucky, I guess…" she said airily. Irene blushed. "It's not what you think," Dustin scowled. "What is it? Give me your report."
"A person claiming to be the Panther Gang's leader has an urgent message," Myst said, handing him a phone. Dustin gestured for her to answer.
"Mr. Fox, I have something to tell you. The Panther Gang, and every gang and underground organization in Lannopolis, has received summons from both the Chandler family and the Lotus Sect!" Blake said urgently.
Dustin's expression remained unchanged. "What's the Lotus Sect?" He looked at Myst.
"The Lotus Sect is a martial arts sect in Honora, a high-ranking organization in Lovellia. They possess several sovereign-grade fighters and are considered a second-tier organization," Myst replied cautiously.
"A second-ranked organization…" Blake stammered, speechless. Though the Lotus Sect avoided gang warfare, no gang dared disrespect them. The Panther and Verdant Gangs were no exception; no ordinary person could withstand their elites. Yet, to Myst, they were merely second-tier.
"Mr. Fox, the summons states the Lotus Sect will send elites to kill any gang's core members who fail to appear," Blake said.
Dustin scowled. "What exactly is Elisa trying to do this time?" He knew this was Elisa's handiwork; the unreasonable woman never grasped her position and consistently caused trouble.
"Mr. Fox, should we send someone?" Blake asked timidly.
"Of course. I'll go," Dustin sneered. "But you're staying out of this. I have my own arrangements." Blake readily agreed.
"My Liege, ignore the Lotus Sect. Send me to kill them all!" Myst hissed.
"No need. I want to see what Elisa's up to. This should be entertaining."
