Listen to this chapter:

Waylon was terrified. Never in his life had he seen anyone stop a car like that—the front hood was even dented. The engine's roar slowly subsided.

"Waylon Riley!" Shawna cried, her face pale with fear as she rushed toward them in her high heels. She feared Waylon might kill Dustin. Dustin finally released the car, bringing it to a halt.

Waylon snapped out of his daze, restlessly opening the car door and stepping out. "Dustin, are you all right?" Shawna pulled Dustin aside, scrutinizing him with deep concern.

"I'm fine," Dustin said, smiling. Shawna visibly relaxed.

"Waylon Riley, you're out of control! If you hit him, you'll face legal consequences!" she yelled, her anger evident.

"Hmph! It's none of your business!" Waylon retorted coldly, his face darkening. His fear vanished, replaced by his usual haughtiness. "Shawna, who gave you the audacity to let a security guard insult me? This is the Riley family's company, not yours! We only gave you the general manager position because of your mother. We can take it back anytime!"

Shawna's face flushed with embarrassment.

"Your security guard looked down on me! Make him apologize, or I'll break his leg!" Waylon pointed at Dustin, his voice rising.

"Why should he apologize to you?" Shawna countered firmly, refusing his demand. His arrogance, considering he nearly hit Dustin, was astonishing.

"Shawna, do you want to quit?" Waylon's face darkened further. "You're just an illegitimate child. Do you really think of yourself as a Riley?"

Shawna trembled with anger. Dustin's gaze instantly hardened.

"Who are you calling an illegitimate child?" His voice dripped with menace.

"Her! What are you going to do about it?" Waylon sneered.

Bam! A sudden, resounding blow. Waylon's vision blurred, his body racked with excruciating pain. He landed face-first on the ground, a foot pressing down on his face. Blood flowed from his mouth and nose.

"You... you..." he stammered, enraged by the unprecedented assault. "I'm the heir of the Riley family! How dare you hit me?!" His voice cracked.

Shawna was shocked. Waylon's words infuriated her, but before she could react, Dustin kicked him hard and stepped on his face again. The sheer force was astonishing; ordinary people couldn't perform such a feat. Her surprise morphed into a changed impression of Dustin.

"Ah... let go of me! Shawna!" Waylon struggled, his yell snapping her back to reality.

"Dustin, please let go of him. He's the heir of the Riley family," Shawna pleaded.

"If you yell again, you won't be able to talk ever again!" Dustin threatened, slowly lifting his foot.

A primal fear seized Waylon as he met Dustin's gaze—ruthless, merciless, and terrifyingly cold.
