Chapter 32

"Why? How could this be?!" Bella threw another tantrum in the changing room. This latest audition had completely humiliated her. She hadn't just been ignored and insulted by the executive director; she'd lost to an inexperienced girl who'd never even played a supporting role. Her pride wouldn't allow her to accept this.

Remembering Dustin's words before he left fueled her anger even further. "In less than three months, you'll become a no-name actress. You won't even be hired for a small, background role."

"I won the People's Choice Award, and he says no one will hire me, not even for background roles? Impossible!" Bella muttered, her face grim.

Suddenly, someone asked, "Are you Bella Wyatt?"

Bella was shocked. Only then did she notice someone standing in her changing room.

"Who are you?" she demanded warily.

"A Hell Messenger from the Verdant Gang," the person replied coldly.

Bella's face froze. A Hell Messenger from the Verdant Gang? She'd heard rumors: a Hell Messenger's arrival meant a family's destruction. "What do you want?" she asked, her voice trembling. She feared he was there to kill her; after all, she was implicated in Harold's disappearance.

"Don't panic. I'm not here to kill you," the Hell Messenger said coldly. "I'm here on orders from the Verdant Gang's top elites to investigate Mr. Grant's disappearance."

Bella's expression changed. She immediately gave the Hell Messenger a highly embellished account of events.

"Are you saying Dustin Fox set a trap for Mr. Grant and his group, and that he's responsible for their disappearance?" The Hell Messenger frowned. How could anyone make two hundred of the Verdant Gang's elite disappear without a trace?

"That's exactly what happened!" Bella insisted. "And I know where he is! I'll take you to him!"

With the Hell Messenger in tow, Bella drove to the Langley family villa.

"Dustin lives here," she said darkly.

The Hell Messenger got out of the car and observed the Langley family villa. Murderous intent flashed in his eyes. He started to enter, then stopped abruptly, his expression shifting. He stared at the gate, scowling. Dustin stood at the entrance, watching them indifferently.

"That's Dustin Fox, sir!" Bella said urgently.

The Hell Messenger stared at Dustin, seeing nothing remarkable.

"So, you're Dustin Fox. I have some questions for you," he said icily. "Lie, and I'll cut out your tongue, dig out your heart, and make you beg for death!"

The Hell Messenger's murderous demeanor would terrify most people. But Dustin merely glanced at him, raising an eyebrow in amusement. A Hell Messenger from the Verdant Gang, huh? There was an underground saying: a Hell Messenger's arrival meant a family's destruction.

"Are you involved in Mr. Grant's disappearance?" the Hell Messenger asked coldly.

"He definitely is! No! I'm entirely sure he made Mr. Grant disappear!" Bella shouted. "Stop questioning him and just punish him!"

The Hell Messenger shot her a cold look. His killing intent made Bella's face pale with fright.

"Are you trying to tell me what to do?"

Bella shook her head, stepping back in fear.

"You haven't answered my question." The Hell Messenger turned, his gaze fierce.

"Dustin, you better admit it! If you dare lie to a Hell Messenger from the Verdant Gang, you'll die!" Bella pointed at Dustin, threatening him. She desperately tried to make him understand the gravity of the situation and persuade him to surrender.
