Chapter 74
“We must avenge the Hidden Fiend and retrieve the treasure!”
The other five fiends rose. The Seven Fiends operated on a system of shared glory and shared losses; avenging the Hidden Fiend was imperative. This was their first collaborative operation, promising a spectacle that would shock the martial arts world.
“I don’t think you need to leave this place to do that,” a voice said from the darkness.
The six fiends were startled.
“Who’s there? Show yourself!”
Two figures emerged from the shadows, their faces gradually becoming visible.
“Who are you?” the leader demanded, his eyes narrowed. Their stealth indicated considerable strength.
“I am the person you seek.” Dustin scrutinized the six fiends.
“What?! You’re Dustin Fox?” The six fiends were astonished. Dustin, their comrade’s killer, had the audacity to appear? Did he truly desire death?
“How arrogant! Are you here to die and atone for your sins?” one sneered.
“Killing the Hidden Fiend was inconsequential,” Dustin replied calmly.
The others glared.
“But I hear you relentlessly avenge every perceived slight, employing extreme and cruel methods. I also hear you often target victims’ families—something I cannot tolerate. Therefore, I came to find you.”
“Beg for mercy? That’s futile! We will never forgive our comrade’s murderer. You and your friend must die!” one savagely declared.
“Beg for mercy? Ha!” Dustin sneered. “I never beg, especially not from enemies. I’ll kill you first, then I won’t have to worry anymore.”
The six fiends froze. They were accustomed to being the aggressors, but this was a reversal. Dustin’s arrogance was breathtaking.
“You think you can kill us?” The six fiends sneered.

A sovereign-grade fighter, Drake, appeared. Cries of surprise erupted. Dustin had summoned a sovereign-grade fighter! Even if he had contacted someone, such a powerful ally was unexpected. Not even Lucas had access to a sovereign-grade fighter! A cry of pain echoed. One of the fiends coughed up blood and fell. With a single blow, Drake had killed him. The remaining five cried out in horror, terrified by the sovereign-grade fighter’s power. The Seven Fiends, while reputable among martial artists, were no match for a sovereign-grade fighter. They couldn't comprehend why such a fighter would obey Dustin. The leader, looking defeated, shouted. They were helpless; their only recourse was[The text cuts off mid-sentence].
Drake looked at Dustin. He had three minutes to kill them all or fail Dustin's orders. When serious, Drake was a force of nature. The remaining fiends were unable to fight back and were killed. Dustin watched nonchalantly. When Drake had killed all but the leader, Dustin gestured for him to stop. He wanted one alive for interrogation.
