Chapter 92

At the Langley family villa, Camille slowly regained consciousness. The moment she opened her eyes, she saw Dustin and Simone's worried faces.

"Simone, Dustin, where am I? Why do I feel so dizzy?" Camille asked blearily. Memories from before she fainted slowly returned. She remembered Bella calling and urging her to drink wine. After she drank it, she felt weak and drowsy. She recalled seeing a lecherous smile on the rich man's face as he approached her…

Camille's eyes widened. She immediately sprang upright and threw aside the covers.

"Simone, I… how did I get home?" Her eyes welled up, and she trembled. She was only in her twenties and had never experienced such trauma.

"Don't worry. Nothing happened to you," Simone said gently, caressing Camille's forehead. "Dustin brought you home from the hotel. He already dealt with the culprit."

Camille looked at Dustin. He nodded. Only then did Camille relax. Still, she couldn't help feeling scared remembering the previous night's events.

"Cam, don't trust strangers so easily from now on, alright? You're an adult now. You shouldn't underestimate how evil people can be," Simone said. "If it weren't for Dustin, the consequences would have been unimaginable!" Camille nodded weakly, tears in her eyes. Her distress was evident.

"Thank you, Dustin…" she said, her head lowered. Camille thought she had found an opportunity, but it had been a nightmarish illusion.

"Cam, maybe you should reconsider acting. You're so innocent; it's hard to survive in the entertainment industry," Simone said, sighing.

Camille was silent for a long time. She loved acting. It was her passion and brought her immense joy, as much as painting did. Of course, she also craved recognition.

"Being innocent doesn't mean you can't make it in the entertainment industry," Dustin said with a smile. "She just needs someone to protect her." He looked at Camille with a gentle smile. Camille was so lovable, a hundred times better than Bella. If he could support Bella and help her gain fame, how could he not support Camille?

"From now on, I'll protect you," Dustin said, grinning. "Get out of bed and wash up. I'll introduce you to some friends. I have some connections in the entertainment industry."

Camille and Simone looked at him in shock. How could Dustin have connections in the entertainment industry? They were doubtful; he seemed far removed from it.

At Dustin's urging, Camille got up and washed her face. She tidied herself and sat obediently in the living room. Dustin said someone would arrive shortly.

Soon, the doorbell rang. Simone opened the door.

A short-haired woman stood in the doorway, out of breath as if she had rushed.

"Hello, I'm here to see Miss Camille Langley and Mr. Fox," the woman said politely.

"Please come in," Simone said, leading the woman inside.

Camille was stunned. "You're the renowned agent, Ruby!" she cried out in shock. Camille naturally paid attention to the entertainment industry. Ruby was a renowned and respected agent who had helped many top stars become superstars. Her capabilities were exceptional; she was a formidable figure. Besides, Ruby used to be Bella's agent. Bella's success was a direct result of Ruby's efforts.

Camille was flabbergasted that Ruby was in her home.

"Hello, Miss Camille. I'll be your exclusive agent from now on," Ruby beamed, moving to shake hands with Camille.

Camille froze. "You're… you're going to be my agent?" She couldn't believe it.
