Michael followed in and closed the door behind him.

Michael didn’t beat around the bush either. “Jessica’s show in cooperation with the Felton family was disrupted, and a celebrity got injured. Jessica’s been busy lately and asked me to come check. Please, Dr. Green, lead the way.”
Chris felt shocked inside. Looking at Michael again, he saw anxiety in his eyes. It seemed that last night, Janet hadn’t succeeded, so Michael had to act personally. He was curious how Michael would handle things.
After thinking for a moment, Chris took out his phone to call Jessica. Michael quickly stopped him.
“Jessica is still in a meeting and can’t take your call.”
“This is a hospital. According to FN and Captain Felton’s instructions, without their consent, I cannot allow anyone other than medical staff near the patient. You said Jessica authorized you to visit, but I have to confirm that.”
Michael frowned. “I just want to look from afar, confirm everything is fine, and then leave. Joseph… is he really okay?”
“The situation is promising. The surgery ended two days ago.”
“But I heard Joseph went back into surgery last night. Mr. Green, have no doubt about your medical skills. I’m just worried about his condition.”
