Episode 4
When the show aired, Sandra's star ascended rapidly, propelling her to the top of the acting world. Elizabeth, however, let her own acting dreams fade, choosing instead to fully support her husband, Kristopher. She felt she could never attain the same opportunities Sandra seemingly effortlessly received through Kristopher's connections.
At the time, Elizabeth believed she was fulfilling a role that should have been Sandra's as Mrs. Norris, a debt she felt compelled to repay. By sacrificing her career for Sandra, she believed she was settling this unspoken obligation. She hadn't anticipated, however, that Sandra would claim both Kristopher's affection and a successful career.
As Sandra's life flourished, Elizabeth painfully realized she had sacrificed too much for love, losing both her career and, now, her husband's affection. Tears streamed down her face as she saw the past two years as a tragic mistake. Given another chance, she vowed she wouldn't be so vulnerable, allowing herself to fall so completely under Kristopher's spell.
Her phone buzzed, interrupting her thoughts. "Ms. Sophia, the new copyright contract is ready. Please review it for discrepancies," the message read. She opened the attached PDF, feeling momentarily overwhelmed.
Under the pseudonym Katrina Spencer, Elizabeth had once been a successful screenwriter, selling numerous scripts early in her career. Driven by financial necessity, she often accepted meager payments. Over time, these scripts became blockbuster films and hit television series, elevating Katrina's reputation.
By then, Elizabeth had married Kristopher and her financial struggles—including her grandmother's medical bills—were resolved. Her life shifted to domestic responsibilities, focused on being the perfect wife. Amid these changes, her alter ego, Katrina Spencer, receded into the background.
However, Katrina's past wasn't forgotten. A potential buyer recently contacted her, offering a substantial sum for an old script. Elizabeth initially hesitated, raising concerns about the contract, but the buyer proved accommodating, making the necessary revisions.
Holding the revised contract, she took a deep breath, her resolve hardening. A pivotal decision awaited. Quickly, she typed a message: "Create a divorce agreement according to my terms and ensure it reaches Kristopher Norris at the Norris Group."
